Shattered my screen last week and found that it is really hard to find repair instructions on the honor view 20 online. Thanks to this video i could sucessfully replace the screen in no time. Thanks for the help, very appreciated.
This video is excellent, and very thorough, thank you very much! I appreciate the additional information in the comment section regarding which glue to use, and to add a screen frame as well.
Just ordered a new display for my phone and saw your detailed great video. Anyway, I ordered it "with frame", for just few extra money, considering it's gonna be easyer to replace it. Waiting for delivery, just wonder if I did a good choice, and your video will also be usefull for me. Congrats for your great job and Cheers from Romania!
Be careful while any mobile you repair or changing somthing...you must be calm and open and fit evrything carefully never ever apply presure it will definetly damage somthig do softly and taketime slow down yourspeed never pull anything hard orpress anything hard .....advice to new people...
I ve ordered a replacement screen for my view 20. but somehow it does not fit that nicely. it has a gap all around the screen. As if a black frame is missing.
@@rickleow736 It leaves a big gap in between the metal frame and the display without the frame. This is not good for dust/moisture. Also looks a lot uglier. I ended up using one from my old display, but if someone does this job I 100% recommend getting a new one or a display with it already attached. 99% of the aftermarket displays do not come with one, so people should be careful.
I have the same problem right now. I am planning on ordering parts for the back and the screen even though i only care about the screen. I'm worried once i take the phone apart the back will fall apart into little pieces so I want to get the back glass too to be safe. I will try and remember to let you know where i got the parts and if buying the back was needed.
