My heart breaks for you. I’m a recipient of a liver. Long story short I received my liver 6-22-20 My donor was a 39 year old man 🥹 I often ask God why he took him and not me 😔 I’m so thankful for the gift of life and I’m saddened for his family. May God’s grace continue to keep y’all 🙏🙏🙌🏼❤️

While watching this, the tears were running down my cheeks. My heart is breaking for you and for all those who knew and loved your son. I just want you to know that your son is OK now, and he understands your grief, but his greatest wish for you is that you understand that he came into this world with a purpose, one that would take him from you early, but that one day, you will be with him again. I’m not a religious person, but I do believe that your boy is looking down on you, and will be watching over you until the day you join him on the other side, where there is no pain, no suffering, just pure joy and love.
We lost our oldest daughter, Sarah, unexpectedly ten years ago. She was 36 y/o. She was a sister, wife and mother to a 2 y/o little girl. The ache in your heart never stops...you just adapt and carry on because there are other loved ones that still love and need you. I still have moments when I'm caught off guard by a reminder of my beautiful girl and have a good cry. I love it when she visits me in my dreams... GOD bless you and your family. Dear Heavenly Father, Please comfort this family as they selflessly gave their son's life to save other children. Please let his little heart beat for a long life in the chest of another child. Let that child grow into a healthy adult. Thank you, Father for 2 children who are being freed of painful debilitating dialysis treatments. Let those kidneys allow them freedom to live on. Give breath to the lungs and filtering of the liver. Thank you, Father for the technology that one precious life can give to many children.. Again Father, comfort this family in your loving arms as they face life without their precious little one. And watch over these blessed children as they get a second chance. Amen

To this sweet baby’s parents and family…..please know that you were chosen to raise up greatness. To be able to think of and give to others at your lowest and darkest season……to put your feelings aside, even for a moment, to make sure another family doesn’t have to face what you are facing too soon is so selfless. Just know that it’s perfectly fine to be selfish and want to have your baby in your arms again. To those that say “he’s in a better place”, its perfectly fine to say “the better place is here with us”. I have medically participated in these procedures more than I can count. It’s always a double edge sword. To embrace a family trying to find their way through such pain then turn around and celebrate with another family for the gift given to them. I'm so sorry. This song is beautiful and calms me but into tears. We played it for my dad when he was in his final. Moments. Losing a parent isn't at all comparable to Losing a child. That is the ultimate pain anyone could ever endure in this life. My heart goes out to you and your sweet boy.

I know what you are going through, I lost my youngest to bone marrow failure in 2016, she was 2 years 6 months, I had the same and survived 33 years ago, I feel so guilty surviving when technology was not good back then, and my daughter dying when the technology is so much more advanced now. First off, I am so sad to hear of Kason’s passing. I cry the hardest mostly for the young, but just knowing he was such a blessing to your family and now blessing others, gives a peace only the recipients can truly feel at this time. Be comforted that God has blessed you and Kason with seven years and now He has lit the path for others to know Him also through Kason. Taking as much time as you need and know that your your tube family will be here waiting to support and lift you in prayers. Spent 4 years in the waiting list for a kidney. Every time someone would say "hope you get a match" I had a tough time saying "thank you". Because it meant, that someone somewhere was suffering. So now I watch honor walks to say, to the donor and their families, you are something we think about. Donors and their families, are people we will always admire, respect and forever hold near and dear to our hearts. Even though I never got mine, I still love all of you for what you do.
