As a former Marine from Sac, I never thought I would see a Marine funeral procession like this coming through my own city since we are a small breed. It really irks me to see this. RIP Sgt. Nicole Gee.

I appreciate the work and sacrifices of everybody in the military. And I implore our leaders to do a better job of deciding when and where we risk these valuable people. And I hope someday the voters have the final say about whether we engage in “nation building”.
We see the results of GW BUSH’S twenty year war here, that Bush, Obama and Trump failed to get us out of. Biden did it. It was messy and still is. Does anyone think we should still be there fighting an obviously useless war? Thought not.
