Me too. Recently found out about him. He’s a great talent - great singer as well as guitarist. Saw him in Philly a couple months ago. And will see him Cape Code tonight. He and his band put in a great show.
He's amazing to watch live. He got me into the blues when I randomly stopped at this show at a state fair, think he was like 15. His live shows are absolutely amazing!! Ive seen him about a dozen times
@@ryanlemieux3214His show last night in Yarmouth, MA was awesome (about an hour from his home town). We sat with friends of his family. I got to talk with him for awhile at his Philly show. Seems like a very nice young man.
IMO he has the recognition and needs more visibility. I think that his performance at the Beacon Theatre for the Love Rocks NYC earlier this year could have been the catapult he needed. His performance of Dear Prudence was amazing.
I became aware of Quinn a few years ago and have always been impressed with his child prodigy performances and how he’s matured into a great guitarist and musician. The full package. I’ll have to download his new album.
I’ve seen his dad’s band in New Bedford. I went to high school with his guitar teacher Brian. Brian lived down the street from me in Westport. He was also an incredibly talented young musician who went on to go to Berkeley in Boston. I’m so happy to see this young kid take off. New Bedford is a rough area with a long history of heroin addiction, crime and poverty. Way to go 🤘🏼🎸🔥. So stoked for this
I used to play the same local open Mic as Quinn. "Ricks music". He was just a little kid at the time. He is a smart polite person. His parents were very nice. Glad his talents are being shared with the world.
MARTY thanks for having quinn sullivan i actually saw quinn taking lessons at symphony music playing beatle music when i took my lessons there. saw the guitar that ellen gave him when he was little. it's cool that he has become the artist that he is .
I saw Quinn at a free music festival in Raleigh, North Carolina when he was just 14 years old, he was playing everything from Hendrix to Beethoven that day, he really blew peoples minds and I’ve been a fan ever since, pretty cool to see him here in this video shredding with Marty
Got to see Quinn playing in Cocoa Beach a few weeks ago. The new album is great and he couldn’t have been a nicer person meeting people after the show.
MARTY, do an allman brothers Major pentatonic licks lesson. What I have heard is the Dual Harmonized Allman Trick is Duane Allman would play the minor pentatonic while Dickie Betts would play the major pentatonic to create these harmonized allman 3rds and 6ths. Its those 3rds and 6ths using the minor pentatonic and the major pentatonic. Try to make a lesson about doing this allman trick
hi marty! i can’t find a tutorial or tabs for this anywhere, could you do a tutorial on “Across the Sea” by Weezer? and maybe some other Pinkerton songs?
All notes off by underside (acoustic version) guitar lesson and solo by another guitarist you gonna love that (if you want give solo lesson too.) there is no tutorial on whole RU-vid 😢❤
