Well now that I have made mittens😉, a gingham beautiful sage and white baby blanket💯, now on to your sweater times 2. Because of course someone will steal mine. She's so lucky I love her to pieces. My daughter will just love this. Wonderful job. You make this effortless. Really thank you!!!
2 smaller panels is equal to 44 rows so it’s close to one panel on the King. You got this! I would like to invite you to join my newly formed FB Group. Koala Knits And Knacks Here is the link 🥰 facebook.com/groups/899664008062522/?ref=share_group_link&exp=9594

Missus Clark, I can’t respond to you directly by tagging you cause your comment is under Patty’s. Hope you see this. You could definitely make it on the 48 pin. I haven’t done it so I don’t know how many panels you would need but you would just follow the same instructions otherwise. I absolutely love ❤️ your tutorials, this looks amazing 💜💜. Can I ask, could you do more items on the sentro 40 pretty please, at the moment the 40 is the only one I have and I'd love to do something like this on it. Lots of love ❤️
Hi Sarah I am not sure if I responded earlier. I am getting comments in two different places and can’t figure out how to merge them. Ugh! I can’t keep up. Thank you for your sweet comment! 🥰
Another awesome project Shelley!! Think I might make this one without the hoodie but once I figure it all out, as in which yarns I'm gong to choose etc, I'll share the finished project in the group too :)
Love this sweater and will definitely try it. Would it be workable in the 46 addi too? Also, could you not do the join as dropping one stitch on the panels and joining the tubes with the braided join?
Wonderful design. I love your creativity and skill with these machines. I do have a question though. You said that you explained at the begining how to figure out how many rows you needed. I watched the video a few times and never heard that. I was wondering if you could tell me please how to figure out how many rows and how many tubes we have to make. I wear a 2x to 3x and have no idea how many tubes I would need. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for any help you can give. As always very well done and enjoyable.
I am just going through comments and trying to answer them all so I won’t take the time to go back and see what I said. That video was a while ago and I forget but what I will say is that every 5 rows knit is approximately 1”. So measure in inches, on your body, how long of a tube you would need from front hem to back hem and multiply that number by 5 rows. Measure the width of the tubes and how wide you would need it for your body and do the math. Please show me your finished project in my FB group.
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet thanks hun. I am so sorry I bothered you with this. I am a knitter and should have known to figure the width of the tube. All I can say is I had a menopause moment. I used to be a smart woman, before the menopause. LOL Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. It is very appreciated.
If I wanted to use a drawstring to close the hood around my face, what suggestion would you have. I was thinking of adding a holey crochet edge on the hood and then weave in an I-cord. I appreciate any thoughts you or anyone else had. thanks! I definitely will be making this! It's what I have been looking for, so again thank you!
I thought of doing it with a crochet cord because I don’t have the I cord gadget yet. I think it would look awesome. I think I might have hand sewn a seam about a half inch from the edge and all the way around the front of the hood and then weave in your cord. If you do it please post in my FB group so we can all see. 🥰
The skeins were 355g. I used about 4 3/4 for the sweater and needed to buy the 6th to finish the hood. I have most of the last ball left. I can only accurately tell you for the size I made and it’s in the video. I’d have to watch to remember how many skeins I used. Lol You would likely want to add the the length of each panel and also just keep adding 2 panels. (1 to each side to keep it even) until you have your desired width.
Me encanta esa prenda de vestir . Por favor los subtitulos no están disponibles en el tutorial. Me encantaría hacerlo. Si fuera posible por favor añadir subtitulos quedaría muy agradecida. Muchas gracias. 🙂
I don’t have measurements for all sizes. Sorry. It would be pretty basic though. Make your tubes longer. You will have to measure for yourself and add tubes till you have it as wide as you desire.
This is a beautiful creation by you. Ty for the video. May I ask where you bought your knitting machine? I’ve been trying to log into addi but it doesn’t have a section to create a login account. I want to see how much they sell them from their website in comparison to Amazon. It seems Amazon prices have gone up in the last year. How much did you pay for your addi machines? Thank you for answering these questions.
Hi there! It is a 4 weight yarn. Quite soft to the touch. If you haven’t already done so, I would like to invite you to join my newly formed FB Group. Koala Knits And Knacks Here is the link 🥰 facebook.com/groups/899664008062522/?ref=share_group_link&exp=9594
Could you please tell me what the gauge is on your Addi machines? I knit with a knitting loom but I like to watch what projects you make on your machine so that I might make them on a stationary round knitting loom since I can't afford to buy an Addi or Sentro. On a stationary knitting loom we measure from center of peg to center of peg to get the gauge. I have many gauges of round looms but knowing what gauge your knitting machines have would be a great help in order to duplicate your beautiful pattern designs. Thanks so much for sharing your creativity with us. I am a fairly new subscriber and have enjoyed going through and watching your videos very much ❤ It's so satisfying watching your machine crank out such beautiful fabric. If I could I would watch all day.....but then I wouldn't get any knitting done, lol. God Bless, and thanks again!
Sorry that I didn’t see this sooner. I just realized some comments were coming in a different place and I have missed a lot. I will try and get that info for you.
@@koalaknitsandknacksaddicrochet No worries, hon. Some of the channels I subscribe to are having major issues with comments not showing up -- one of them said he is only now able to respond to comments from 3 yrs. ago!! He's been trying to find out and/or correct this but he can't seem to get anywhere and is extremely frustrated. He surmises that it must be a RU-vid problem 😕 Thanks so much for taking the time to respond. I really appreciate it ❤
If I am doing this right then the 46 needle Addi is 5/8” 22 needle Addi is the same. Sentro are both the same. So all machines I use are 5/8 of an inch.
Sorry my English is not good so I didn't understand the explanation properly. I liked this. Is the total number of pulleys used 355? Or are there only 355 in each one?
@@fatyibr2034 that makes sense. You will see the correct numbers in the transcript. Your English writing is excellent so hopefully the transcript will be easy for you to read. All the best! 🥰
Your welcome! I try to reply every day but between this and my FB group am now getting a ton of comments a day. Soon I won’t be able to keep up. Lol! Can’t wait to see your finished work.
Might I ask.... how tall are you or your torso? Is like to make this for my mother who appears to be your size but knowing your torso size would help determine if the rows would be appropriate.
My Son bought me the Loop and Thread 40 pin knitting machine . For Christmas. From Micheals. it has no counter. But that's ok as I was told I could add one. When I tried it out. It was trial and error. I was able to make 3 hats they were rather snug. So I feel it could be because the pin count is 40, not 48. The problem I have is that I have problems making flat panels on the machine as the machine will not catch the thread when I come back across the row. I've watched so many tutorials on Utube. Although no one else has this problem. Do you have a solution for panel knitting on the machine? I also live in Manitoba. Carmil Merritt. 170 Watt. St Apt 324 winnipeg Manitoba. R2L 2B5
That was nice if your son to get you that for christmas. 40 pins really isn’t big enough for an adult beanie. 46 or 48 is what you need. But the 40 needle is perfect for headbands, scarves and children’s beanies. Many other things as well. Just not adult beanies. As you can see from my channel….Lol….I don’t have any flat panel projects “yet”. I am not a fan of working with flat panels but one day I will put more effort into it as well. I think maybe what your needing is a bit more tension on the ends.
