Twitchy and The Wolf stole the film. 🤣🤣 I loved these two, wish there was an actual cartoon series with the reprised actors, and these two were the leads going on their detective/reporter runs. 😭😭😂 especially loved the Dynamite scene.
This movie is irrefutable proof that writing is everything. The jokes, story, and parallels to folklore were entertaining and clever as hell. Even if the animation isn't fantastic, it's still an absolute joy to watch for me.
The Wolf and him were my favorite parts of this movie. I remember in high school my senior year there was a little freshman kid that was hyper like this and we were all calling him Twitchy. From what the younger classes told me, the nickname stuck.
Can’t believe I used to love this movie AND the second one when I was younger. I still have the DVD trailer memorized for this film. 😁 I forgot which DVD the trailer played in.
I watched them both, and unpopular opinion, but I think they're both decent. Everyone acts like the second one is this horrible demon but frankly it's mostly good. Is it weaker? Yes, but it's not unwatchable, it has good jokes- And the animation is an upgrade from this one. Also this movie is amazing and I will never apologise for loving this series and characters.
What's really funny, is that thanks to youtube i can slow down the video, and when i do i can actually understand twitchy when he's talking to the cops.

Man I haven’t seen hoodwinked since I was like 8 years old it’s been at least a decade since I’ve seen that but I would love to soon since it isn’t on a streaming service
Kinda funny how this, and the "Fables " series are the only 2 pieces of media (that i can think of, at least), where the big bad wolf happens to be a member of the law enforcement(officer).

Twitchy is my favorite and I always have memories of being like 4 years old and my sister and I would play make believe with this game and I always wanted to be twitchy for some reason 🤣🤣
