You are right. At first I also felt bad for Zayan. Zayan knows that Haya married Jaffar to save his life. He still believes that Haya is being mean to him because she is afraid of Jaffar and more misunderstandings were further created by Resham sending messages. He thinks Haya sent the messages. Maybe if he had tried to save Shaheer, or if Zayan had felt remorse after Shaheer's death, I would have felt some sentiments for the character. But he felt no remorse. Now even after marriage with Sadaf, he won't move on. I feel bad for Sadaf.

I also loved that part, the way he watched her walk into the room with her suitcase. His facial expression was so funny, he most likely was thinking just what you said. What i like about Jaffer is he has always been decent. Even in the beginning he never harmed Haya or was cruel. Yes the nikkah was forced but even in captivity he was not cruel and he has been fair. He has a good heart.

In my world, Haya is open far gain for Jaffer to fall in love with, since there was never a relationship between Haya and Shemsheer. Jaffer is finally, finding feelings he has never felt before with Haya. His first wife is a lot older than him and he married her at the age of 14 years to please his father. That is why he has stayed married to her. Being married to her has cheated him out of enjoying his teen years and most of his adult life.

Jaffer was rude because he was nervous and he didnt know what to do. He was so intensely drawn to Haya and tried to scare her off but she stood her ground coz he thought she didnt care for him. But in the end when he realised 🥰
