In today's episode of Hookah 101, we will go over HMDs (Heat Management Device) with special guest David from Hookah Place Miami. Here we go over a couple of HMDs that we use on a regular and we recommend if you were to try for the very 1st time. I tend to use foil with most of my bowls even though I'm using a HMD , helps keep the shisha from sticking to my HMD in the event that I have a bit too much shisha in the bowl.

Carbo one, works sometimes shame because I love the idea of it. My main go to is the provost 2 it just works and it's not even high quality material. Great vid guys love the channel. Happy smoking.

Hello there, from the noob of the hookah :D I must say, your channel is most informative on how to set up a hookah. When i think about it, i made so many mistakes. Starting from the bowl and ending with the hose. (Pardon my grammar). What i love the most, you guys make sure to go step by step, explaining everything. The " what and why" all questions answered ;) It is funny, that i can only smoke hookah, damn those cigarettes... cant's smoke them :D So info you put out there is WERY appreciated :) THANK YOU SO MUCH, now i'm not the only one at the friends gatherings, that doesn't smoke :D I'm not left out :DDD They can all smoke those cigarettes, and i will bring out hookah like a boos xD Not to mention simple, relaxing session for my self after work :) You guys are the best, keep rocking it!!!! :DD

P.S.: People, always do your home work on things, before going and buying hookah or it's parts. After watching DMZ tv i now know, that i was given some crappy advice on one of the hookah place, and literally thrown my money to dumpster.

It's all about rotation, we have 35 hookahs here yet we keep them in rotation, people come over we smoke out of different ones every time :-)

the only HMD you have to still use foil is the provost apple on top

Hey Dutch, i have a question for you. When you pack a bow without a foil, and you use oduman ignis is the tobacco tuching it? Because i see you couple of time packing very high.

We pack it just below the rim it will barely touch.

One quick tip from a Turkish man :) Your guest said he's using the Turkish one very often. Better to have like something KS Appo and use foild after put it on top with the bottom part. It smokes sooo good, way better than hmd. Give it a try

This video about every detail about the HMDs makes me want to get one so badly😍one fact i like like the quasar and the carbo one HMD is that it is a bowl and HMD combined with I think is more effective 👊

It is in fact, and you don't need to worry about foil

when you say smoke for 2 to 3 hr. is that straight with out changing the shisha? also what tips are those ?

Hey Samuel Well that is David he can smoke for 2 to 3 hours straight lol but he packs good bowls and as long it's a good bowl and good shisha you would be able to pull it off as well. We might do a video like that as well.

We never recommend Quicklights because they are bad for you, but yes you can use them on a hmd

What if my bowl isn’t that big and doesn’t really last long ? And the bowl is screw on and idk where to find new bowl that’s big to fit more shisha and is screw on too

@@ChrzN-xd9oc the bowl is screw on ??? not sure bro but every bowl should last 40 to 60 minutes at least. It looks like you need a different hookah.

Just like any old pot, let it rinse in water and then scrub away that is all

Well we recommend the Original Ignis but there is a new model just came out this month that I will be doing a video on.
