About 50 Percent of this is not even needed, like the lowering of the truck bed, more stuff to where and tear, the wheel chocks, I just put a brick on the back tire, the bricks that I have been using have not moved in 3 years, I even put bricks where the tires set and where the Jack is in the ground so the trailer or jack doesn't sink into the ground
I have a comment one thing when you connecting your change yes criss-crossing but you do not twist your chains you can stretch and break them. If you have to adjust to change shorter link. The purpose of crossing your chains is if you do lose the tongue it will lay on top of the chains without digging into the asphalt but if they're twisted if you lose a tongue it will stretch to change and cause it to snap.
The breakaway cable should be connected directly to the frame of the truck, not anywhere on the hitch itself. Hitches often fail due to the tubes rusting out and will take everything off the truck, hitch head, draw bar and safety chains included. I wish RU-vid supported picture comments because I would put one here to illustrate this. Attach your breakaway up on the bumper or put an eyelet on your license plate bracket to ensure it really does break away in the event of a total hitch failure.
Fail....... the break away cable can not be hooked up to the hitch under the truck. Ask any DOT inspector. I was given a written warning about this. Please teach people correctly to save them Headaches.

Same here, I'm fifteen and even when I was 12, I didn't need any help, that why you start kids at a young age, they can do anything from drive a semi at 12 to weld and fix farm machinery, that saves the farm or company a lot of money, and the kid is learning his keep.
