Thanks for the Amazing video, very beautiful. I spent 2 summers in Hoonah in 1977 and 1978 living with my dad who was a Bush Pilot for ABC airlines, which does not exist anymore. ABC was based out of Hoonah, eventually my dad got enough flight time he was able to get a job at a major airline and he was an Airline pilot until he retired a few years ago. Back in the mid to late 70's there was very little tourist activity. I was 7 and 8 and my brother was 2 years younger than me and they just let us run all over the island by ourselves all day pretty much, or with local Eskimo kids we made friends with, swinging on rope swings, fishing, being afraid of bears etc, it was an amazing time.
