Hoosier woman learns her distant relative is the first Black man to die in Indiana's electric chair 

Latonya Collier needed a topic for a college research paper. Her great aunt pointed her in a direction that would become a passion project. Latonya learned her great-great grandfather was the first Black man to die in Indiana's electric chair --- a device he had helped to build.
