Nice machine! My late aunt had a Concept One. She bought it in the early 80's after giving us her Eureka upright. She used the Concept for about 10 years and then got a Hoover Elite. When the Elite got a bad cord, her final vacuum was an Oreck XL.
Hoover USA's Concept One PD model U3225 was manufactured from c.1983-c.1986 in the mist gray and light gray color scheme. The flourish on the front of the cord reel casing indicates that it's fully-featured. It appears to be the same as the model U3305, but there must be a difference; unless the model designations have something to do with where they were sold. The Concept series is the company's best vintage-era performer. Happy Hoovering!
