How do you like it compared to hizero?do you feel it’s worth the price difference?

Interesting that the machines sound slightly different! The corded one is a bit harder on the ears, do you think it’s because that one has been in use longer?

I bought a corded Streamline after your reviews on it. It mops well and it doesn't streak but I don't like all the cleanup required on any of the vac-mop combos. Even after I run the cleaning cycle I have to wash the bin, filter, and brushroll and then they all have to dry completely. I have to wipe down the base of the Streamline and behind the brushroll where there's gunk.

Are the wheels hard, noisy plastic or rubber?

I have the corded one and I’ve never noticed streaking. I do think it works better than and will likely last longer than the Bissell Crosswave it replaced.

Hoover poses excellent value propositions in their respective market segments and I might consider the Streamline corded version if my Oreck Steam-It ever gives out or if I eventually run out of floor pads for it. Thankfully I bought boxes upon boxes of floor pads for the Steam-It shorty after I bought it thinking I’d burn through them much faster than I have since we both have the same SQ front loading washer and they’ve lasted a long time. I may even have boxes upon boxes of flor pads after the machine itself breaks. I have an earlier version of the Hoover Swivel upright vacuum that I use only when I’m vacuuming up Sebo Duo P or Oreck dry cleaning rug powder so that I don’t need to bring my Sebo G4 or my Oreck CL Pro Plus II in for service after I’ve cleaned my rugs or the carpets in my guest rooms. Since the Swivel is bagless I can disassemble the whole machine and wash it all out after the week that I use it to clean up any residual powders that might be in my rugs and since it’s a Hoover it’s disposable if it ever does break down and I don’t have to worry about ruining one of my better vacuums. One Hoover that I have in my office that wasn’t so cheap to buy but is still a decent value for a real commercial machine is my Hoover Hushtone 13” Upright. I don’t think you’ve ever reviewed one. It’s not cheap at $400.00 but it’s pretty well built and feels as durable as my old Concept One. Best yet it’s very quiet. I like quiet. I like quiet vacuums a lot and as I said it is a good value for a real commercial machine. The reason that I would consider a Streamline if my Steam-It goes is that it is an upright and I like doing my tile floors with it. I’ve purchased a Karcher steamer that’s like a canister vacuum because the Steam-It wasn’t very comfortable to use on my kitchen backsplashes and trying to use the attachments in my shower stalls was like a slapstick routine. I steam my kitchen floor a few times every week however and if the Steam-It goes I want the function of an upright as opposed to the canister layout to clean the kitchen floor that frequently and I steam the tile floors throughout my entire house every month. I much prefer that task using an upright than the Karcher with its hose and wand. I’ll decide when I have to cross that bridge I guess. Karcher makes an upright steamer too and I do like using only water and sanitizing the floors with steam but the Streamline looks very easy to use other than cleaning it up when finished. Oh life is so complicated! Thanks for the demonstration Alex. You make Saturdays worthwhile.

This is, by far the worst mop I have ever owned. I bought my first one back in December of 2023, when my Floormate quit working. I figured it would work just as well and the Floormate was not available at my Home Depot. In late December it quit working. The mop will get plugged in and will stay in self clean mode. You are unable to use it and it will not come out of self clean mode. I took it back to Home Depot and they gave me mop number 2. I took it home and used it for a few weeks and then it did the same thing. It went into self clean mode and would no longer work. I called Hoover and they gave me the name and address of a vacuum repair shop to bring it to. I brought it to the repair shop and they were unable to fix it. Therefore, the repair shop gave me a new mop. I took home mop #3 and used it for a few weeks. Last week I was going to mop the floors and plugged it in and what do you know, the mop is in self clean mode and won't work. So I have taken it back to the repair company and they can't fix it so they are now ordering me mop #4. So, I am now going to be on mop # 4. I have no idea what keeps happening and neither does the repair man. The only thing I can say is don't buy this mop. It awful. Hoover needs to do better.
