This guy Hoppy is the best in the business! At 74, I have enjoyed watching all these movies as much as when I watched the TV series when I was a kid in the early 1950s...never get tired of watching quality movies like this! Good guy always wins and it just makes you feel good inside...good stuff here.
Wow!… How great was that! I think that’s just terrific. I’ve never found one of the Cowboys that I like better than him… And there are some great ones, but I still love him.
I was all dressed up like a cowboy and my cousin Raymie was an indian .i had a silver cap gun .pow pow.Raymie had a bow and arrow with a suction cup on the end of the arrow.what i didnt know wad that he took it off and whittled it sharp! He chased me across the creek and shot me in the back.ouch.i still have a scar and that was about 54 years ago.lol
Hoppy didn't chaw, spit, smoke and drank sasparilla. He was the first to adopt a Cowboy Code and become a role model for children. Both Robert Mitchum and George Reeves got their start in Hoppy's films. I still have a pair of Hoppy Boots size three...I wish I could wear them again.
This was the first cowboy person I remember. I must have been 3-4. Besides my daddy, Hopi was my hero too. Still is. I am an older person now, still love watching reruns.
I got acquainted with hopalong cassidy western program on t.v. in the 50"'a when I was a teenager.in st.louis,mo. Then this program showed up on roku recently and have been looking at ever ever since.i wish I could have met him in person.joy.
I am such a sucker for Hopalong Cassidy... He's my Hero! I have all the movies of the 1940s and the TV series, but I have zero from the 1930s, so this is a treat. Thanks
All day long it plays in the background. I can't tolerate the news, the horrible shows, fighting, cursing, drugs, violence. I want a simpler time back I'm so saddened by the direction our country has gone (Due to the dems). It's so sad. This show, like many, others in the good old days make me happy. And I wasn't even born when they were out. Lol
I am 83 and feel just as you do but I can remember when all these people lived and the USA was a grander place. We are in big trouble.@@kimdagostino7986
@@renacorey5877 boy I know what you mean. My husband says I'm crazy cause I refuse to watch the crap on tv. I feel if we were able to somehow catch that more innocent time at least for our children. At the end of hoppys episodes when he talks to the children and says motivational things and how to respect police and parents..... well I just wish we could b like that. I'm sorry all you wonder people...but since the democrats took over our great America is being destroyed...it's so sad.. so I watch all the old shows and dream of peace on earth and a happier safe world
This was a nice selection of the best Hopalong movies. I’ve enjoyed these for many years. They’re just as entertaining as the first time. Thank you for posting them.
Bill Boyd in the role of Hopalong Cassidy is a true joy to watch! His smile and laugh are awesome! Hopalong Cassidy was the birth to major merchandising in the entertainment industry. All should watch the documentary about Bill Boyd done by Dennis Weaver.
My favorite ones are the the ones with Patrick Hayden as lucky.. this johnny guy is my least favorite of hoppies sidekicks.. it's like calm yourself tough guy and lose the tude mouth
Stephen Morris is by far the best baddy and sometimes twice i think a goody, one of the best actors and i like the fact different stories but same actors revolving cast my other favourite actors is George Hayes and Andy Clyde. William Boyd a western legend. Thanks for sharing.
