Hope Clayburn and her band Soul Scrimmage perform at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis as part of the "Sun Studio Sessions" series. The full 30 minute episode will air in select PBS markets beginning spring/summer 2016.
I too just saw these guys on PBS Sun Studio Session - wish they had more recent recordings available with these GREAT tunes on them. Smokin' band and a really nice mix for a live performance - these guys are a real musical treat!!!
John Marsden thank you so much for the positive words. And yes, we need more recent music and hope to have my new recording out by this spring...I move slow because I have a day job as a trauma nurse in Memphis but trying to balance both. So, please stay tuned ;)
