That's all on Shimano. It's no mystery- Shimano doesn't want hi-end companies to be able to make micro spline as they know that much fewer people will buy Shimanos wheels and hubs. It's as simple as that. Market shares... Shimano wants to force customers to buy only Shimano parts. It's nothing new.
