I was 13 y/o in 1975 when this beautiful ballad came out. This was one of my Mother's fav. love song. We lived on the 4th floor and the older teenage sisters lived on the 5th floor. She'd send me upstairs quite frequently to borrow the album from them. I would then watch her sing it standing in the middle of the living room with her eyes closed and swaying to its lovely music. I would smile and chuckle to myself watching her never realizing that I was living in a special memory. On June 16, 1987, she was found dead on that same living room floor, from a stroke. She was only 52 y/o. RIP Mom!!! Yes, we'll be together soon. Also rip to Teddy and Sharon -- a perfect duo indeed!!

My mother told me this song was playing in the car as they were bringing me home from the hospital. So I had the player vibes instilled in me since birth!

My mom had a massive stroke.. she's strong and knocked the doctor's off their feet!! When I say, STRONG! I MEAN STRONG!! My dad is so restless and misses her something awful!! So I thought of this song and decided to dedicate it to my dad.. I miss her being in the hospital, away from home also.. but, my heart aches for him from missing my mom. Although my mom is getting stronger everyday.. I feel so terribly sad that he feels so alone without her. This is for you dad.. not to make you sadder, but to let you know that you're not alone and I miss her as well. You're gonna be alright and she'll be home soon. You guys will be together soon. I love you poppa bear. ❤😥😥😥🥰😘😘😇

The Blue Notes, Teddy Pendergrass, Barry White, Emotions oh the list goes on. Music I treasure even my grand children sing and dance to my jams. They music like they used to.
