Nice run. After that second pair of bosses the enemy scale just goes zoomies into the stratosphere and only the completely broken builds like flower pot boosting itself with honey every turn from somewhere early on keeps up with things like that. Though a few bears or an Onyx tower or two in the whole honey boosting thing can stack some massive numbers.
@@HaliosTV just had an idea for a build, but you'd need to collect a fair few removal tokens during royal tower level ups, most likely. Basically get to the ancient tower and get a tower of defense going as best you can leveling it up as quickly as you can while replacing every other tower with max or highest level skeeter towers. Just imagining having 9 or 10 skeeter towers sucking up 6 - 10 hits each. Though this is one of those builds that would probably take a lot of set up and transition into unless you somehow got like double cost reduction+ and a solid way to roll piles of skeeters.
Would be hard to pull off, but the following combo would be insane: - a lot of bee towers to bump up flower tower appearance rate in the shop - the item that allows all towers to level up infinitely - ??? - profit With the right setup, like if you got the tower that reduces all towers' cost or one that increases the exp they get when combined, and high enough chance to replace towers in the shop with flower towers, you would be able to infinitely high roll you eco into infinity since the flower towers would pay for themselves + the reroll (their trait to give the exp gained as gold). With all that money you would combine them with an obsidian tower or something and completely break the game. The chances of pulling this off are like 1 in a million, but it would be fun if achieved.
Hey mate :D You did great and I think the Animal Red Data Book safed you there :D and btw. if you safe the Money until Round 20 after the Boss you can get Rare Towers by a 100% and there you will find the Witches :D
nice content :) It would maybe be fun to do a Hydra build with the combine tower. You get a LOT of hydras and stack them as the last tower with stair to heave for a massive unit that grows
i got a pretty nice run today with chest - thief - chest - thief -chest -thief - dice. No, for real, it worked great :D. You get so many re-rolls that it's super easy to level towers and make the dice tower very powerfull. would be nice to see how it would last in endless mode though...
An early witch (before the 3rd stage, or even before the 2nd stage) will do wonders for long jumps. At your point of time, I'd rather do the Slime - Hydra build and test the eat/destroy theory.
Okay, Hydra needs to be at level 13 to reach 100% chance of gaining stats, got it ! (there's technically little to no point of levelling an hydra over the level 13 when you can put it in another hydra
Did that a couple of times, it really boosts the hydras stats later on, but for low level hydras its not as effective. But thats the thing with hydras anyways, they are only good if you get them early :/
If you wanted long jumps, you shouldn't have given yourself only an 8/13 chance to continue the potion. Your odds to get a long chain were very very low.
This is great! How come when you freeze the Mosquito Tower in the tower shop, you don't get the second benefit from the Frog Tower? Does a frozen card not count as part of the tower shop? $$$
@@HaliosTV I'm trying to report a problem from my steam deck and I have not been approved for the reddit thread. Can you pass the message along to the developer?
I like how he said at round 20 he'll get the witch and if you slow it down at 13:06. He does get it but it's when he double rerolls. Doesn't get better then that. LOL that sucks
@@HaliosTV he's referring to the option to the immediate right of gold I imagine. That being more tower shop slots so each reroll is worth more because you see more. although for a build focusing on uncommon/rare towers I personally believe the option to the left of gold being the tower rarity up tier for shop allows finding particular uncommon towers easier.
