I too am a Deora fan!! I think you nailed it. I really like this one much better…💪🏼 Note: see what it would look like with a transparent yellow windshield . Idk might be cool, then again might not..😂
Keith, great video. Before I had a channel, I did some experimenting with Deora IIIs because they have the potential to be great. I hate the lack of a windshield and seemingly no engine. I thought maybe they’re EVs and the entire base was batteries. I did some styrene and Milliputt work to turn one into a yacht-looking six-wheeler that I didn’t finish, another into a Cybertruck, and a few more. So I stocked up on the casting. But the big thing is a windshield, and I got a vacuum-plastic press. Now I feel motivated to make windshield templates and get back to that casting. I have dozens of them, after all. I look forward to researching those paints. “Ready to paint” are the three words my paint booth loves.
Mission accomplished. That's cool now! Just finished my '71 Plymouth GTX for your 2024 Custom Diecast Invitational build off. I'm sure you'll have a big turnout for that. 🍁☕👍
The Deora 3 🤔 ....... my momma said if i can't say anything nice .... well you know. Fantastic job at talking a turd bucket and making it bad ass. I used to like that kind of challenge .... helping a troubled casting and all but now i just get pissed off. You're a better man than I. 🍻🤣
I like the way you did it. I understand the surfboards obviously but am not a fan of the bike. I also would prefer to have an actual driver like on the packaging. Just personal preference. Great job my friend.
That turned out great Keith! I absolutely hate the stock Deora 3 casting and you've made it into something that looks SO much better. Now if only Hot Wheels would make these kinds of improvements.
You accomplished whatever you were looking for on this. I don't like that cast either, but this is super cool. Do agree with other comment, needs a windshield. That engine though? Chef's kiss buddy 🤌
That engine is way to small. ther's so much open space... maybe you can put a submarine nuclear power reactor in that. I mean there is no to much energy...
