Hobi and Jungkook are called the Golden Duo for a reason. HOPEKOOK is a force to be reckoned with.
A HOPEKOOK collab was a hot topic on social media for days. Hobi celebrated his birthday by announcing a new album and docuseries. The Pre-order was dropped a day after the announcement, and you know what that means! As usual, the pre-order post shows what you're going to get when you purchase the item. But the details were understandably blurred out.
ARMY were extra interested in one particular spot. Many believed that a HOPEKOOK collab was coming. Eagle-eyed ARMY were convinced they could read Jungkook's name. Before you say ARMY are just hallucinating, have a little faith in their detective power. I mean, it made sense when someone underlined the words that seemed to spell "Jung Kook." As if that wasn't enough, the following words seemed to say "of BTS." So the whole line was possibly "Jung Kook of BTS."
While a HOPEKOOK collab was such a huge surprise, it is actually not far from happening. Hobi had been very vocal about how impressed he was with Jungkook's skills. That said, Hobi may have finally decided to feature Jungkook in his album. Jungkook's perfect pitch could come in handy, considering Hobi is a perfectionist. Hobi even almost drooled when JK re-created the bell tone in just one try.
What makes a possible HOPEKOOK collab legendary is Hobi and Jungkook's extraordinary skills. Despite being in the Rap Line, Hobi has a beautiful singing voice. In fact, Hobi's vocals are so amazing that ARMY mistook it to BTS's main vocalist Jungkook.
Speaking of main vocalist, Jungkook doesn't limit his talent to that title. He can switch his perfect-pitch vocals to rapping effortlessly. Hobi was even shook when JK started rapping Dynamic Duo's "Go Back."
If you think about it, a HOPEKOOK collab makes so much sense. A lot of the iconic verses of BTS's songs are those from Hobi and Jungkook together.
HOPEKOOK's vocals are so insanely good together that they sound incredible even in karaoke. So, is a HOPEKOOK collab really happening in Hobi's upcoming album? Well, if ARMY's eyes are correct, then it is.
