Hobi is older than Jungkook but he relies on him in certain circumstances. He sees JK’s strength as something that he doesn’t have, so he uses it to his advantage.
Meanwhile, Jungkook is inspired by Hobi in so many ways. Just like the rest of the BTS boys, Hobi’s hard work and positivity molded JK into the person that he is today.
That said, Hopekook is a ship that can melt anyone’s hearts. I love this “Golden Duo” so much!

When Hobi almost left the group it was JK who stopped him, so they likely have a very special bond. JK also bought an apartment in the same building as Hobi, so there’s really no getting rid of him. 😂

RM convinced him to stay along with jungkook, but RM did the most talking , he spoke to hitman bang, and said (we can make it without him) so he decided to let him stay along with persuading jhope. jungkook did the more eye water and physical feeling (crying) hobi cried with him, jungkook then begged him not to go and that's how he stayed . . Anyways I just wanted to get this of my chest bc its so interesting, but my actual comment on this post is [*I know right lmao*]

I love watching JK and Hobi interact. They seem so relaxed and comfortable when they are together. JK idolizes Joon and Yoongi, has a great time being a comedy duo with Jin, and has a fun sibling rivalry going on with Jimin and Tae. But it’s Hobi that he seems to go to for comfort, and where he seems the most at peace, just being himself. 🥰

JK and Jimin are very much like brothers and best friends, but Hobi is the emotional heart and glue of "the family". When still in training days, Hobi left and JK cried and cried (he was 13). RM talked to management and Hobi returned. JK and Hobi have a super strong bond. 💜

Hobi has such a bright personality, no matter what the situation is, which is the rarest thing in the world. He is the energy bank of the group.
