Y’all did great guy’s and y’all are becoming more and more competitive running in the front. Running 2nd to Overton says a lot without saying anything. I would love to see y’all run a full season in the southern all stars series and see where y’all finish. I truly believe that y’all would be in the hunt for the front!! ☝️☝️

I just went back an looking at some old vids. The vid was your first racecar thats behing the big shop. It would be cool if your dad would let you have it back an take it home an not get it running or you could to fix it back like it was back in the day. Like it was in the pic. I wish i never wouldve gotten rid of my first racecar my biggest regret. I have a new on now. All thank to yall. Yall have got my blood goin again for racin. I miss it very bad

I wanted to say thank you for being the same in person as you are on video. I have a injured leg that prevented me from coming to the Saturday talladega race but my daughter was going with her friends. I asked her to get me a HTF hat. She spoke to Joseph and Jesse and said they were gentleman and didn't just blow her off even though they were preparing the car to run. Sorry for the bad luck. Maybe Johnathan will tighten the quick change cover next time LOL. Thank you and keep the videos coming!

Jesse while you are down there change that gear again. I found a brand new 215.00 gear set for the quick change, through Wal Mart online. It is perfectly matched and new so it isn't going too go bad in the race.

Outside pole, which the last I checked was still front row! Nice work by all the crew (Joseph, you really shinin' there bud!). Man -- I hate that guys (almost as much as you do!). The car was fast and Joseph was hunting where he needed to be. That's tough but not predictable; a simple failure by seizure of some type either by fouling of r/p or bearing. Seems when things are looking up, something happens --- then again, that's racing. Repairs and back at it ...... It's really showing y'all can't be denied. Love it AND the support of everyone!!! Another shout out to the ladies, they deserve it!!! Next race is just around the corner --- #HTFNation --- LET'S GOOOO!!! ... Also, a huge shout out to Base Racing Fuels!!! Be Safe

The gear burning up and the teeth that broke away could have been enough force to blow the cover back and strip the threads on the nuts. There would have been smoke a lot sooner if the cover was loose. It sparked and smoke flew just as soon as pushed the cover away. I have seen gears do this and it is unexplainable. Good job guys

One thing sometimes things happen that isn’t what we want to happen. Believe me we’ve been there, lost 2 transmissions and driveshafts this year ourselves. Keep your heads up

gears from two different sets? if it was out of grease the pinion would usually burn up before the spur gears .

Here' a tip... I have used speedway motors Part # 91605024 mounted above the rear end accessible from the rear deck to quick fill the rear end after gear change = saves time and the quick release valve guarantees the rear end housing is full of gear oil.

put oil in the rear diff instead of grease. and try maintaining it once in a while. good luck.

A college prof once etched into my head the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Always go to the line with something different.

quick changes are the weak link in the drive train. even with the big gears that is a LOT of HP going through them. busted several on asphalt. dirt is rougher because of the ruts. tough luck but nothing you did to cause that. Stuff breaks.

Well damn that sucks a fat one yall need to come to Tennessee next season for real there is a lot of tracks that slick off or roll up like 411 motor speedway smokey mountain speedway but the one i bet you would love is the bad fast Tazzwell speedway or Bulls Gap sorry Volunteer speedway there is alot of tracks you would be competitive at for sure but yall will get it just keep hunting that front and god bless

Good idea! Also seeing the left front coming off the ground under hard acceleration would be cool. Also seeing the right front being compressed and searching for traction trying to get the car turned.....Slow motion maybe.

I love watching you guy do work . I was wondering if you added fluid that was the first thing I noticed when you changed the gears and moved onto the next task. It wasn't shown in the video . In the 90s I watched Ron Bolin in Missouri kick ass, I want you all to win! We don't get to see racing like that here in Jopiln, nevada or monett Missouri any longer. A T shirt of XXL would be awesome. I can not afford one though. Remember the Joplin, MO tornado of 2011.

you should have jo put a little zip tie on the throttle linkage the way when he start it you just slide the tip of it under the idle screw to idle it up then can just burp the throttle and the zip tie will flip out and it'll idle back down that way doesn't have to mess with the idle screw all the time

I've been wondering if you use a fiber lock nut on the rear quick change cover. we used them on some applications on aircraft. Hated to see that. , Good Luck HTF crew in future races.

Don't know if your doing it but are you keeping notes on setups, temps tuning ? Sometime just by looking at notes n track conditions you might see a trend or an improvement. Your one of the up n coming teams keep pushing good things happen to those who preserve.. HTF mashing the loud pedal..

The gear change is were things went wrong -- as I was watching the video when y`all got done changing the gear I did not see any one put any gear oil back in the rear end -- and when I seen the sparks coming out of the rear I said the rear end is about to go -- I hate it y`all had a good run going

i agree when you get dry smoke and sparks that tell me of no oil running without or leaked out of rear cover i don't believe this would have happen if cover was not removed don't get in a uproar this is my opinion

what caused the quick change gears to get munched up? is the shaft bent if so it might push the gear off like that. you guys wear very competitively fast. great job on tire work too!

Hey good run and at least you had all your lug nuts tight ! We ran our race this past weekend with 2 hand tight, other 3 just started on lugs ... but we did get a yellow because of wreck and finished the race 🏁 #JESUSISALIVE #HTFnation

It appears the acceleration off a turn is below the rpm where the power starts to build and/or the torque is near its peak. Perhaps a lower gear set? 6:28

There is no need to be smart about an opinion. In the video it does appear that jojo doesn’t have the forward bite as the other lead cars but it could be a number of things like the right front shock or jetting or a host of things. But what I do know is that there is no reason to be a smarta$$
