@vitaliybychikhin1654 yeah they both sound good but i lean more towards the hopestar but zealot at max volume is very good

@jedolivier2688 so far I've only tested indoor and I like the x20 by a little bit more, it reaches a little deeper in bass and is a bit more clear and nice sounding

@@jedolivier2688 outdoor may be a whole different story though

@@Jagistreviews Yeah, I saw that you ordered a Tribit Stormbox Blast2. Can’t wait for the comparison videos. Supposedly, it’s 200 watts rms, according to Tribit.

@claudiufiliimon6428 it definitely has a good sound stage, they both sound pretty dang good, yeah youtube for some reason is making it sound that way by how it's compressing it, I'll do a db meter test asap, but in real life the hopestar is louder

@@Jagistreviews thanks man , I noticed that too in some of my videos,the one that has deeper bass sometimes sounds less louder than the one that kicks more midbass

@claudiufiliimon6428 yeah i think it's just a microphone thing for some reason, I don't like that it does it though

The hopestar definitely sounds great. They both sound really good and for some reason my microphones can't pick up when a speaker gets to a certain level of loudness because in real life the hopestar is a decent bit louder but it didn't pick it up accurately through the mics or something when uploading it

I noticed as you turned up the Hopestar it began to not increase in volume. Both speakers are using different volume adjust gates.

@brenthastings7881 yeah it's just the recording and RU-vid compressing the video that it sounds like the zealot is more loud, it's hard to get a perfect recording, but I'll do a decibel meter test asap so we know for sure how much louder it is

@brenthastings7881 my microphones i think reached their limit to where it wasn't recording it going louder but in real life it was going up in volume, not sure if it's my microphones or just youtube when it compresses the video when I upload it, the better test is when I can do them outside

@@Jagistreviews Well I just got the Zealot S98 today and can agree in lower volume steps it can be lacking in a robust sound that we'd expect from such a large sized unit. Honestly, as I listen to reviewers claim other than what I hear I now get what you mean per what youtube does to the sound. So as I watch these videos and think...wait that doesn't make sense. So my assessment of volume adjust gates is flawed thanks to youtube's sound compression/compandsion properties

@brenthastings7881 yeah I'm sorry youtube kinda sucks that way, for the most part you get accurate recordings especially with smaller speakers but with the big one's they are so loud it messes with the accuracy when we upload it to RU-vid
