Sometimes in this life, when you’re wrapped up in what’s right next to you, you miss everything around you. For instance, these folks. My ears have wasted energy on so many things, all the while missing out on this. Not to worry. This kind of greatness is held in the same regard as a great book. I was checking out your RU-vid page and it was the first song listed. I've only recently discovered his music and had not heard the song as of yet. It moved me miles. Actually had me tearing up. A beautiful love song gets me every time. I'm a little old, but not drunk and still a little sad about the facts.
I've been playing 35 years, 6 & 12 string guitar, Harmonica, Mandolin, and this duo is superb. There's a chemistry rarely seen or heard as it hits you right in the sole.
It's a very nice thing when you discover that a band that you love, the same way as you, loves that wonderful hick that you love so much, such as Mr Young.
They really need to put in the title "Neil young- harvest moon cover" cause it took me forever to find this specific version! But it's so good. Beautiful.

Obviously your love for him seems to have preceded your duo-ness, and it's a beautiful thing... I've never paid attention to audio quality on RU-vid videos, but the rich sound of this video forced me to notice it. The recording is especially sweet the way it captures the unique tone of that Pre-War Guitars Company Herringbone. What a lovely sound!
No matter how bad I would be, I am going back to the days of my friends with just acoustic guitar and piano and a few more stringed instruments, and of course our voices.
If that's your best line then 'lookin' at a beautiful, talented musician (or any woman for that matter) is probably about as close as you'll get. Show some class.
@@johndavies4541 but she is so very lovely. I can talk for hours about so many aspects of their music. Yet many things can be true at the same time. Anyone would be lucky to have another person look at them the way she does in this video.
This is a beautiful adaptation of a beautiful Neil Young song. That's hard to do, or at least it seems so by how many beautiful songs get butchered in the cover. The more I listen to these two I realize they've been good ever since they started recording.

Wow- watched your YT gig at the NC government mansion. PA set up there was better, though this cover song performance still shows every bit of emotion, musicality. There’s great spontaneity to your songs along with precise mandolin lines. Vocal harmonies are great, and the gal plays great violin. She’s learned it well- uses full bow strokes while playing double stops, chords. I hear Welch-Rawlings influences in MO, but with their own uniqueness. MO ‘s original songs are great as well. Like the sunburst Gibson guitar too...

Guess you haven't heard of YTMP3, add-on to Firefox. Sure worked for me on this, back in Nov. Right now, the mp3 file is stored on server where it was encoded. (RU-vid-mp3.org) Go get 'em.

Does anyone recognize the song Andrew plays in the beginning? Huge fan, I play the Mandolin, and every time I play this song, I want to learn the rest of what he’s playing.
