The mom had cancer and couldn't afford chemotherapy. The part that gets me in this video is the scene where both the mom and hop have the iv going into their arms.

Nick Recino it’s an analogy for Hopsins life in rap. Like he said in Ill mind 5 Hopsin didn’t wanna be all that. Hopsin in my opinion is using this as an analogy. He needed to find a way to help his mother and wanted to go about it positively. Hopsin found a way to help her by rapping and venting his pain and anger through his music. He was able to help her essentially saving her life but in doing so he lost who he was inside which is the portrayal of his death. Could be wrong but that’s my opinion

TLM The premise of this video is about his mom is sick & dying. So he calls up someone (not sure who) that tells him, NO We can't help you. So he makes this plan to get the $$ for his mom so she doesn't die. Then the robbery goes bad & he ends up shooting the man. He goes away & his mom gets the $$. Watch the switch up when he's running away & you'll see how the $$ gets to his mom.

You said he was signed but he is going the independant thing now.... Hopsin has always been Independent. The label that he was talking about in Ill Mind 8 was Funk Volume, He is the one that started Funk Volume he just wasnt running it
