I think that one of the reason's that friends have a stronger bond than some relationships is because a lot of relationships don't actually begin as a close friendship, and don't take the time to grow. In some cases when 2 people meet, one of them is ready to take things to the next level and rush things. R. Kelly did a song once called 'Homie Lover Friend'. Realest song ever. Very different mindset from Ill Mind 5 because he kind of understands people make mistakes sometimes. I also appreciate how far Hop has grown and become much more mature and less judgmental to people who aren't like him.

What he says makes sense... we are all human and have desires and needs. One person can never be our everything because life changes, people change and times change. Nobody is perfect so to think you can find that one person who will be everything for you is delusional. I am an open minded female who does not get jealous easy and can totally understand the "guy" talk so I can relate to Hop when he says we should not have to be fake and hide shit. And people should not be so insecure and jealous thinking they can give someone everything they need and they won't ever need anyone else, only one capable of that kind of affection is God!

I can totally relate to what he saying and I agree 💯. I broke up with my ex in 2015 because of many reasons but one being the conversation part. I couldn't talk to him about deep spiritual things or anything like aliens he didn't get it or cared to understand. So I would talk to my cousin who is like my brother. My ex swore me in my cousin was not blood and had a low key relationship because we would talk for hours about deep things smh. Unfortunately shortly after about a year and a half longer I left him in 2015. Been single every since because I cannot find anyone I can connect with on a level of being real and have good understanding. On top of that my ex did damage to my heart because my love was real and his was fake to get what he wanted from me and that shit hurt me to my core!!!!!!!!!! Now I find it hard to believe anything a guy say to me even if he just call me pretty. My mind is on coution 💯 every day. When I love someone just like Hopsin I really really love that person unconditionally. But it takes two to make it work and he wasn't right. Oh well lesson learned. Maybe one day I will find that unconditional love. ✌

Love has many meanings. But one love or the message is love but so many types of love it's hard, but it's about finding the real love, unconditionally, thank you Hopsin for giving me the perfect example for what I have been telling ppl lately. I disowned 3 siblings out of 6, I allowed so much from them my whole life and I'm young still. But the 3 attacked me (over text) all at once over their thought if me doing drugs, they are a state away and never ask me how I am. I only was interested in learning family medical history, and I even told them it meant a lot, but anyway I didn't respond and just never talk to them, 3 weeks now, but before we have gone months with out talking with me trying to talk. I have been happier allowing myself to not need acceptance or looking for a friend or info needed, etc. Ppl need to realize time is precious. Wasting time on the routine "I love you" words that aren't real...

I totally can relate to you Hop! I am from the hood and at my old school 3 guys tried to kill me over me telling a guy to man up! I am now at a private school and I feel you with having to put in censor mode! And having to keep my old life out otherwise no one would want me to be there! I feel you man!! I soooooo wish I could meet you!!!

It’s cause with relationships dopamine is the glue and we become chemical addicts to the dopamine. So like any “high” person we say fantastic things “you’re my soul mate” etc. And when that dopamine leaves it’s lwithdrawal which makes it miserable for both parties. It’s beautiful when couples get past the dopamine stage and build real love.

Ya that's how I feel, i am trying to be this girls best friend first before we even date.
