Hi thanks for the video, we have pigeons under our balcony , there is a free space between the floor of the balcony and the ceiling of the dpwnstairs neighbours roof, they sneak into that gap, very difficult to deal with them. Do you think putting this device on the floor of our balcony will help please? The birds will not see the device, it will be qbpve them, so only the sound will be there, is this enough you think? We are very desperate , please any advice will help
So far It doesn't work repelling Rabbits. I've seen it. For some reason I have to keep charging it also. The directions just say to charge it 4 to 5 hours in the sun. It doesn't specify charging this unit in the off position or on. I charged it all day in the hot sun ( Again) with the unit on. It's dark now and the unit is completely dead. What's going on? Thanks. Any info would be appreciated.
Hm, it's possible that the battery inside isn't successfully holding a full charge. This could be because the battery itself is bad, since you're indicating that it should be getting enough sun during the day to fully charge, which should be enough to have it last through the night. The other thing that could be happening is that it's getting triggered often which is draining the battery, but I'm not sure that would account for such a short run time as you are indicating.
Thanks for the reply and help. Lately I’ve been charging the unit in the off position all day in the sun. The unit seems to be working lately. So far not a sign of any Rabbits lately. We will see. Thanks again.
Hm, it's possible that the batteries are no longer charging up properly. You can try opening up the unit and replacing the battery inside with a new rechargeable battery.
No, I didn't find this device to be effective against stray domestic animals like cats or dogs. At least, it doesn't seem to bother my neighbor's pets when they come near the fence line.
Yes, when the unit is switched on the red light will always be on, see 1:28. In the footage where I have it installed outdoors, the red light is on but harder to see because of the bright sunlight. But I assure you the light is still on and this is normal for operation.
