She-Ra and the Princesses of Powers season 3 is going to be airing on August 2nd, but before it does we have some really interesting theories to share! First, we have Max, a new member of the channel, talking about the truth about where Hordak was originally from. He is turning out to be a very interesting villain, and he may, in fact, be from He-Man's home planet, Eternia. Could something like this actually happen? Watch the video to see what the evidence is!

Good point, i think next season adora is not going to find her family cause she has to keep etheria in despora for now. Horde prime has a strong army that can eliminate that planet. A good idea for the show to introduce heman is to have him as prince adam, u can say he was heman for several years. The reason y i say that is cause u could have skeletor kill his brother randor and prince adam became king but decided to remain as heman

Since Dreamworks only has rights to She-Ra but not He-Man (which would include Eternia) we won't be seeing He-Man on the show and probably not Eternia either. We could see Eternia if the writers make Eternia completely different from what it was back in the eighties.

no , they couldn't. It would still be Eternia , with Greyskull Castle and a Prince Adam. They can make nods within what was showed in the original She-Ra , but never that goes beyond that.

They've handled She-Ra exceptionally well so I'm more than confident that the crew for this show would handle He-Man just as well if they introduced him/ made a He-Man spinoff.

Hordak is an avatar of Hord Prime, he is kinda like the agents in The Matrix he just wants to compete his mission so be can be reabsorbed by Hord Prime and then cease to exist as an individual.

If we get Enternia, I sure Hope that Skeletor is a mutch more capable Villian. Hordak and Horde Prime were a big Dissapointment as Villains. They never activiliy fought anyone. Just used their Goons. That dosen't make for a threating Villian in my Opinion. Also why does Horde Prime just use Clones? Mantenna? Grizzlor? Moduldok? Any actual Horde Member? So many missed Opportunities.

The new series seems to have moved Hordak's "Evil Dad" role from the 1985 original into Shadow Weaver, as now she is the one that (supposedly) oppened the portal and knew Adora's origin all along... Hordak, on the other hand, told Adora (to her face) that he couldn't care less about her origin and past. Thus, on this current version of the events, Hordak isn't really the Big Bad at all - and is probably building up to a redemption arc + Entrapta ship. Catra and Shadow Weaver are probably the real enemies of this series, even if Horde Prime ends up being rewritten as a serious menace (on the original he was a total comic relief... but pretty much nothing was serious in tone back then).

Hordak is originally from Horde world, tried to conquer Eternia then went to Etheria. Adora is princess of Eternia. Daughter of King Randor and Queen Marlena (Captain Marlena Glenn) from planet Earth.

Hordak first appears in Eternia way before He-man, when the first Sorceress and wife of King Grayskull the original He-Man his power was put into the sword and it became the sword of power used by Prince Adam since he was only 16. If you watch He-Man Origins and The Sword of She Ra these two movies give plenty of the back stories. Also other He-Man and She Ra episodes give back stories about other Hero and Villains from both cartoon series. Like the origins of Hordak, Skeletor, Shadow Weaver and Heroes like Man-E-Faces, Fistor, The Sorceress of Grayskull "Teela Na," the council of elders of eternia. There are also countless villains from Eternia and other worlds. Like Plunder the Spoiler from Trannis. Negator. Darkdream, Joker (a magical creature from Trolla Orko's planet. Dragoon, Molcrom, the Dark One. The list is very long they ensured that each episode had a back story everytime.

Currently the only boundary is Sony who has the rights to masters of the universe for a he man movie, which happens to encompass other characters like Mantenna and Leech. Maybe after the Sony he man movie, will you see prince adam, or greyskull, but for now, netflix has to work with what little they have, and it's painfully showing.

i super hope he-man will come as a guest star on the she-ra and the princesses of power series like we hope to see one day case they say alot of he-man things in the series like adora said for the honor of grayskull to transform in to she-ra and adora said eternia to open a door to the crystal castle and other things like in adora's memories as a baby like the window seen the stars and moons and planets and seen the black portal on eternia and despondos was seed on the 2002 he-man series when king gayskull was fighting hordak then send him to despondos whit all this i think he-man will be needed to help adora know her true home and family adora will need to know the truth of her origin if not from he-man then may be from light hope or from shadow weaver case light hope know adora was destined to be she-ra or shadow weaver case may have used her magic to open the black portal to eternia for hordak and brot baby adora by accident i super do hope he-man will guest star on one or two episodes if not then it will be like the 2002 he-man series it had hordak but no she-ra

Mostly Adora, cause she thinks she’s alone. Yeah she has friends, but it’s something about knowing that you have a family, a twin especially, that makes you gain a better understanding of who you are. Does it mean that she’ll leave and try and change? No, just that she can rest and be assured that she does have a family and are very proud of what she is doing. That’s all I want for her

I was under the impression that He-man will not be in this reboot because of copyright issues, being that both properties are owned my different entities? (I know this was a thing when the show first started). That being said, it does appear that Dreamworks owns some part of the He-Man franchise apart from She-ra, so maybe something happened in terms of copyright since the show started? I imagine He-Man will not get in the show because Stevenson was told he could not be included and never wrote him in the story. Things could change, of course. It would be fun to see Skeletor pop up in the show.

When I see this Cheap Ass Animation, it reminds me of going from: *The Clone Wars* to Rebels From *Young Justice* to Teen Titans Go From *TMNT 2003* to TMNT 2012 From *He-Man 2002* to Whatever the ^%#@ this is Lets keep in mind I am not knocking the story in this series, just the animation. I mean come on, I've seen better animated detail in Transformers, G.I. Joe, even Freakin' Tiny Toons had better animation.

Also keep in mind that animation is ridiculous expensive. The more detail you have in a show the more costly. You need to keep in mind with the budget they are given and the time restraints to produce something like this. If you haven’t studied animation or work in it then you can’t possibly understand. There’s nothing wrong with the art style. I grew up with He-man, G.I Joe, She-Ra, Jem And the holograms. Animation back then was a labor of love and wasn’t as technologically advanced as it is today. Back then animators did their best to captivate the audience by emphasizing on detail and depended on toy lines to save them from the expense of doing so. So of course production companies try to cut costs now more than ever especially when given a budget and a short deadline. They’re able to cut corners and save money thanks to technology. These people did their best and at least it ain’t no teen titans Go or thunder cats roar! The plot was phenomenal and did their best to keep it as similar to the original She-Ra all the while making it their own. As a huge she-ra and he-man fan it was a great version and it did She-Ra justice. We haven’t seen She-Ra since the 80s. Sorry that you can’t see past the restrictions animators are given. Case in point, look at the pilot episode to Steven universe and then look at the show after Cartoon Network had a say...the pilot had soo much attention to detail...that would’ve been too expensive to animate through out the series. Even Rebecca Sugar was not too fond of cartoon networks over simplified and over exaggerated features of her own creations...but she had no choice and eventually the designs grew on her. They simplify animation to avoid collateral damage should a show fail. Even if it goes against the creators wishes. Don’t judge the cover of something before giving that show an actual chance. See past appearances, give it a shot and who knows you may end up loving something by seeing past its image. Happened to me with Midnight Gospel. Hated the designs with a passion...gave it shot even though I didn’t want to but what the hell...and...I do not regret it. At all. Don’t judge something by appearance alone. I understand what you’re saying about animation style but the creators don’t get a say once it’s in the hands of a company.

Bit late.. but if Eternia's brother planet is Etheria..... -like in the lore- than wouldn't the Horde attacked Eternia too when entering the system? Yet there are only dead planets around Etheria. Krytos too is a nearby dead planet. This timeline feels a bit different and Grayskull seems fallen or at least lost.

Noelle is lying. She altered Adora's true origins. How can Adora quote Grayskull in her transformation if she had not already been there during the early years of her life. She cannot be referred to as a princess unless she was directly born from Nobility. It was already established that Adora/She-Ra was the stolen twin-sister of Prince Adam/He-Man in which the Sorceress later found her location, and sent her brother through a portal to give Adora her inheritance (which was her own sword of power) for her to become the heroine, She-Ra. This rewriting of the 80's cartoons in the guise of a reboot is a grave insult to the original series and the original fanbase. Hordak originally came to Eternia to conquer the planet--until he was defeated and banished into another dimension. It seems that the only thing that has remained true was the fact that Skeletor betrayed him back in the day when he had a real face like everyone else before it was ruined in a battle against King Randor, who later married and had children.

*Hordak* lived on Eternia once. True. But (of course) he came from another world/ "Horde-world"(?). Please watch the original MotU Episode: *Origin of the Sorceress* ! --> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-MFj77LBQjG8.html The "Horde" seem to be an interstellar Imperial force. A power structure that aggressively expands throughout the universe. (They clearly project the claim to be "Masters of the Universe".) They seem to have come to Eternia in waves... The first wave were scout ships, obviously.... Hordak seems to have been a commander of the first siege of Eternia. For some reason the "Horde" Empire shifted priorities and Hordak led the siege on Etheria. For what reason?! I'm looking forward to see an explanation that makes sense... And I'd see a potential to lift this whole Saga onto another level: I'd really make this a live action series, comparable in quality to the excellent "Mandalorian" show, but more in the style of "Lord of the Rings" + "Game of Thrones" + "Blade Runner"... This is -- after all -- a spin-off of the saga titled: "Masters of the Universe". It's about a preposterous claim: To become "Master of the Universe" what does that mean..? What does it mean from the perspective of the humans, who settled on Eternia at some point in (future) history? Where does all the (abandoned) technology on Eternia come from? How did all the mutant species emerge? What does it mean for the "Horde" Imperialists and local warlords like Keldor/Skeletor..? And what about "Zodak/Zodac" and his/their race?.. Who are they/ where or _when_ do they come from and what do they think of these (implicit) claims to "Master" the universe?

@Duck Soup You make a very good point, but im just saying I don't think it would be too challenging to create a new story for him. And you also make a good point about old fans being butt hurt about a redesign but there was a lot of backlash about the new she-ra too though. I think eventually most people would come around to it or it would just be picked up by new fans like she-ra. I loved the new she-ra and the old one just seems boring and one dimensional to me

You did not really just go there! Now you’ve been to have the original thing is come after you guarantee it! The only that bands of the original series will say they should’ve stayed authentic to the original series in the original plot line! That’s why my niece Who also do RU-vid videos has a series on the he-man masters of the universe is she were princess of power make up tutorial talking about in doing the make up looks based off the original characters and talking about the characters I think her doing this is great and the series that they did is not so great! Let’s hope and pray Amazon , keep to the Original storyline and plot line point blank

I could imagine us seeing Greyskull in the finale, where everything is so messed up, only a fully realized She-Ra is needed to stop it (alongside the Princesses of Power). Adora finally finds her way home, or at least to Greyskull, gets her answers and knows that her place IS on Etheria, with her friends. She returns to Etheria and in her best fight yet, she not only defeats the evil or chaos, but also finally gets through to Catra and everyone has their endings... Thoughts??

Mineta Minoru I feel like if they added He-Man the focus would automatically shift and the entire fan base would revolve around him so I personally don’t want him in. I need to see a Shadow Weaver redemption arc along with Catra so He-Man isn’t getting in the way of that.

I think the creators say there won't be a he-man in this series. It's actually too bad. I'd like to see the two teen realize their twins and start working together. It could be interesting just because Adam being a prince would have a very different perspective and approach to problems than Adora
