Forecast was grim but the wind had a hint of north in it on arrival I could hear the sea from the carpark oh god here we go........
And to be fair it was ok albeit a bit of surf and I knew that would die down as the tide came in....but it was still a bit of a struggle as the tide came in.....
Bit of slow start by my standards but fish were there the target was Rays and first cast on the double sandeel came good although it was tea bag a ray is a ray 🤣🤣🤣
A steady few hrs of Whiting and Pout but the doggies were not about.....yeha
Then the big slack liner here we go a proper Ray.....so I thought bit hairy in the big surf but experience of big fish in big seas soon had her beached and it was a nice good lump weighing in at 8lb 3oz.......Tickety booooo
then a few casts more produced the usual bits and bobs
The Trident Startright Rig Bodies performed as always superb and combined with Sakuma they ain't gonna get away 😀😀
