Horea Memorial House 

Horea (Vasile Nicola Ursu, 1731-1785) was one of the leaders of the peasant uprising in Transylvania in 1784.
You can see:
- an obelisk in honor of Horea,
- the memorial house in which there is a small museum with clothes and household items from that time,
- Horea's real house, to the right of the ash tree,
- Horea's ash tree, planted by him himself,
- a view of the valley in which the Horea village is located, with a beautiful white church.
The village of Horea is located at the foot of the Apuseni mountains, in the northwestern part of Alba county, on the Arăzii Valley, a tributary of the Ariesul Mare river, and is 102 km away from Alba Iulia, the county seat.
