An interesting little Game fact I noticed while looking through all the Bios in-game: All the males and all the females use the same body model (they are all the exact same height once you ignore helmets. Most noticeably are Aloy, Elizabeth and Beta... j/k). Except Erik, he is huge. Way bigger than anyone else.
well, I think that's true for a lot of npcs you come across in side quests, but there are quite a few who have different body types. Who I can remember off the top of my head is Petra and the oseram girl who wanted the tower lenses (both bigger than Aloy, probably no height difference though), and then in that side quest with the Tenakth girl who's brother was blinded, I believe she's quite a bit skinnier than others which makes sense since the desert Tenakth struggle a bit for water (and thus probably food as well).
I haven't played this game but played the first one. Did this really happen or is this a mod or edit? This looks too ridiculous to actually be in the game
@@viziel519 I'm guessing this is better when you have the in game context. I wish they at least made them look strong or menacing as they fly. Instead it looks like a flying ballet of Peter Pan people. Not exactly the villain I want to see in a game about killing robot dinosaurs.
@@ericaran3795 Gravity manipulation power suit. That's the explanation and the concept of them flying is not from peter pan either. From your logic, SuperMan is copying Peter Pan.
VentGarden, he calls them “Peter Pan people” because of the silly pose they make when they fly away. (With those ridiculous wardrobes, no less) Superman doesnt fly like that. It’s really not that hard AT ALL to see what the guy meant, dipshit.
@@christopherlyndsay8611 Demon's was gorgeous but no match for Horizon Forbidden west. I'm just saying the obvious. This game has some of the most gorgeous nextgen graphics and animation ever.
Glad it’s not just me. Story is basically perfect except for that aspect + Regalla being under-utilized. (Still an amazing and provocative tale overall, though.)
@@shaney_haro What I don´t understand - Regalla already lost twice to Hekarro, and yet she finds even more people for her third assault. The Tenakth believe in strenght, so why do they follow a leader who can not win?
@@nicolasritzke1042 maybe its cause they recognize that even though she's lost twice shes still trying to fight and even though she did lose she survived but thats just my two cents
Billionaires are, generally speaking, already comically and unrealistically evil in the real world. Like, Bezos, whose riches come from worker exploitation the globe over, for example. You can't get that rich without walking over corpses.
I think they may use Song Jiao in the next installment. It looks like she's swept up by the bird-mech and taken away. 1:52 Interesting that in the game she seemed somewhat against the rich class, here I'm thinking of the "treatment costs" datapoint, which she wrote. Just seemed like she kinda stuck out, even though you don't really interact with her, but we know she is the one who is responsible for physical immortality. Gonna be interesting to see what they do, since she is almost always portrayed in a good light. Just found it noteworthy that she was "abducted" in the cutscene, and not killed. Perhaps Beta had something to do with it? One would think all the machines purely be there to fight, and not capture and run away. Just seems kinda sus, like there's more to it than that.
I may be wrong, but it seems to me that in a optional dialogue with Tilda, she refers at Song Jiao as one of those who died back in Sirius when Nemesis escaped, so the Asian lady we see in the video is not Song Jiao.
@@boobiedefloop6097 don't be so sure. If you finish the game and go to Tilda's mansion, you'll find that the table they had 'breakfast' on is flipped to it's side with the dishes fallen to the floor. Bit of a weird thing to add if it doesn't mean anything. Plus we didn't actually see her dead body, just her arm sticking out of the machine. She could have just been knocked out for all we know
Hmm. I feel like that their whole vibe and visual design could have been a bit better. Maybe the contrast with the other people is intended, but they just don't look.... menacing enough.
Ok. Now it become insane. Like Dragon Ball. First a fine Post Apo World with Robots and a Mystery now its about Superhumans from Outerspace,God named AIs and other Sci Fi Mambo Jambo Shit.
Haha that moment when the shields drop is fantastic - you can pinpoint the SECOND when they go from "WE ARE INDESTRUCTIBLE GODS" to "Umm... shit we're stood in an open field, surrounded my metal dinosaurs, wearing business suits..."
