He had the technology to kill Aloy, then rebuild her and bring her back. She would have then been enhanced with an unnatural Zenith body, like tilder's
Kinda fitting that Tilda’s last act is to literally become part of a huge machine trying to force Aloy to leave with her and indoctrinate her into her line of thinking. She regrets abandoning Elisabet to the Faro Plague and yet she still hasn’t learned her lesson, mirroring how Far Zenith repeated humanity’s mistakes in creating Nemesis, literally turning themselves into a machine that serves nothing but itself, just as Tilda’s attempted abduction of Aloy is clearly self-serving. (which by the way, this shit is creepier than fucking twilight, this thousand year old, immortal woman creeping on this 20 year old girl because she flung with the long dead person she’s a clone of. “You’ll forgive me in a few centuries”, ugh, fuck you Tilda…)
Right?? It made me sick when she said it. She has this disgusting, perverse obession and it especially pissed me off when she called Beta an incompetent copy while glorifying and practically deifying Aloy right infront of her. In terms of narcissism, shes just as bad as Ted Faro.
Yeah, it sucked that she died. I thought tilda was one of the most interesting characters in the game. Even though I haven't play both games. Now, I've regret not playing them. Because I like the world and story of the horizon games. Hate that I've spoiled them. But, this fight with her felt forced and made no sense. Why the hell would Tilda even try to hurt Aloy? There was no bulid up to fighting her.
@@TheKareem1212 I thought it was tragic, but well-telegraphed. When Tilda captures Aloy, the way she treats her displays objectification, obsession and a total lack of empathy, even as she's trying to be "nice". I think she genuinely hates the other Zeniths, and wants to be a better person than them. But at the same time, a millennia of living in that environment has left her unaccustomed to being denied, and disconnected from the idea that other people have agency. Then there was her disregard for Tenakth lives and transparently bullshit explanation of why the Zenith colony failed, not to mention Beta's perspective on her actions. There was enough there to imply that she had some other agenda related to her infatuation with Elizabet, and was at most indulgent of Aloy's values. It's also a logical culmination of the game's (honestly heavy-handed) theme of how entitlement and isolation can corrupt well-meaning people.
Beta is a precious bean that needs to be protected. 😤💪 I didnt trust Tilda after she said she was fascinated by the arts of deception and when everyone around the base confirmed I shouldnt trust her. I wish she actually was different cause thats another ally to the table, and that she actually cared about Beta and to extension, Aloy. But noooo. We get 1000 year old creep woman who wants to abduct Aloy without care for her input due to an infactuation she has on a 1000 year old dead woman.
@@TheKareem1212 Her intention was to leave Earth with Alloy. To make Alloy like her--immortal. And then with the help of Gaia create new world somewhere else and rule as Gods. Her intention was I believe to knock Aloy down cold and then drag her away. Except game shows it as if she killed you. I suppose it would be too much to ask for a cutscene where Tilda drags Aloy away , murdering her companions if required and living the Earth in a shuttle in a skippable cutscene
I replayed the final boss just to hear this. 3:05 is the best part. I could feel Aloy's resolve to prevent the Earth's destruction and Tilda's desperation at a ''Second Chance'' with Elisabet.
Massive improvement of a final boss fight over HZD's Deathbringer reuse and a few machines. Something brand new and one of a kind to face against! Pretty tough too!
How is this boss better than the final boss of zero dawn? The zero dawn final boss was intense, challenging and extremely cool. This boss is easy, boring, and completely dissapointing. There is nothing good about this boss apart from the music. At least that deathbringer was an actual challenge
@@Jason-..- death bringer is actually easy even in ultra hard. The only challenge there was the cannon fodder machines rushing at you while dealing with the deathbringer.
@@Jason-..- A challenge you had beaten prior. The Deathbringer brought nothing new to the table it was the same as it was when you fought it the first time. This was a different boss that you didn't already have a strategy for.
As much as I love HZD (and it is tied with RDR2 and TLOU for the position of my fav PS4 game) the final boss was a letdown. When HADES said "arrival of entity has been accounted for" I got a shiver down my spine. Then he shot out a beam, and I sat forward expectantly. Then it was a Deathbringer. By this point, I'd defeated about 20-30 of them. It seemed odd that HADES would think that one more would be enough to kill Aloy. If three of them were there, that would at least have been a challenge on the hardest difficulty.
Does anyone else feel like it's BS that even after taking control of the Zenith base, we still can't explore or get back into the base, or is there something I'm missing?
@@GameslordXY but since he took over, wouldn't he start making some of the specters as well, since he would've gained that new knowledge? It would've been something to keep me playing it after beating it, for a little while anyways. I have no reason to play it after beating it and finishing all the side missions.
Wait, THIS is the actual final boss theme? Because then my game glitched out. The music I got while fighting Tilda was "The World on her Shoulders". Weird...
@@GMmaster99 The "My way or the highway" attitude, deep regret, worshipping a dead entity, willing to kill the person they hold dear, deeply obsessive, cultured, clearly violent, malevolent mentor... Now that you mention it, there's a LOT in common.
Same! I was on Ultra Hard ready to at least get my ass handed to me by the final boss based on the appearance of it. Only to be so OP that I hit the center and saw 1300+ damage with one sharpshot arrow and was like "What the?" 😂
La pelea contra Espectro Prime fue mejor que la de Hades/ portador de muerte de horizon 1 y no solo eso ,si no que la banda sonora están elegante , instrumentos primitivos y avanzados para crear la canción , simplemente épico y bien detallado The fight against Spectrum Prime was better than the one with Hades/bringer of death from horizon 1 and not only that, but the soundtrack is elegant, primitive and advanced instruments to create the song, simply epic and well detailed
@@virginiad.1911 Hey dude you still beat her! I play on Normal because I'm lazy and play without much challenge. You beat her on a higher difficulty likely using gear for that level as is fair. I just put her off until I did everything else to do. I would lose easily in that case lol I just grind the hell out of everything because it's less work in a way.
Play her on ultra hard level no NG+, she is in another level, practically she kill you with a hit, plus she becomes more agressive on final phases of the figth.
