I don't think "your type of games" needs to be exclusive. I played Elden Ring for over 400 hours, loved it. Voted it GOTY. I also played HFW and agree with you that's it's friggin amazing too. I played it for at least 200 hours and still haven't finished every little side thing. All sorts of games can be good. I've never even played a souls game before this btw. Might want to check out ER for yourself

I like the idea of Horizon but can’t stand playing Alloy as the protagonist so that’s pretty much a dealbreaker for me

Finally someone who likes the same types of games as me. Best games of the last few years were Forbidden West & Last of Us Part 2. Ragnarok is okay, and Elden ring is unplayable for me! . Also boomer from forbidden west was written as on the spectrum. So she was supposed to be like that!

Plague Tale uses custom DirectX12 API… on the PS5… that was a strange decision.

I absolutely loved Horizon Zero Dawn back in the day. Played through it when I got a PS4 Pro. I've since built a rather powerful PC, and I just couldn't bring myself to compromise with Forbidden West on a PS4 Pro, so to scratch my Horizon itch while waiting for the second game to release on Steam, I've been replaying Zero Dawn on PC. Just one more month to go before the game comes out though, and I can't wait
