Diablo 4 and Hogwarts legacy will be the last Big Games for the Base ps4. But its amazing how Good they perform 9 years later when devs optmize well

its not the tek that makes the game its how much talent thought and time and effort put into them. same with music most tacks take almost no time and no thought at all to make and some take mounths even years. sadly the games market is all about quantity over quality and its a bad road to take for everyone. HZD is without a doubt the best looking game on the PS4. and now its the best looking game on pc next to GOG. and GOW.

As a diehard fan of Nijigasaki High School Idol Club, i am glad that even on 10 year old PS4 FAT Console, Horizon Forbidden West still looked great and gorgeous.

There's hardly a difference. Every gen. Before this there's a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE going from ps1 to ps2 or ps2 to 3 ppl would look at the screen and INSTANTLY know which one is which. I've had so many of my friends say "dude there's a big difference between ps4 And 5" so I say OK let's test that and then I load up a game I have for both consoles and say OK which one is which and regardless of whether they get the answer right or not they literally need to stare at the screen for a long time and need me to switch back and forth 20x times before they can make their decision. If you need that much time and you're that unsure which is which is there really a big difference? Like I said EVERY GEN. before this one the difference was night and day this time around every person I've tested this on can HARDLY tell which is which. This isn't a new gen. It's just an upgrade period I've never been so disappointed with a new Playstation as I have with 5 in my life. Bottom line is this is the least impressive jump ps has ever made of you own a ps4 pro is just not worth buying a ps5

its a credit to sony to keep supporting the ps4 and if you are on a budget a ps4 will do. i have a decent PC powerfull enough to run cyberpunk in 4k 60fps on high settings but my ps4 is still a powerfull machine compared to it.

Started playing on ps4 pro yesterday. Played for 8 hours on 4k tv and so far it's very good (even though some textures could be cleaner in ps5 along with 60fps)

You need to remember that this video failed to explain what video mode they were using for the PS4 Pro. In HFW, there is an option for Quality or Performance. Given that this was being run at 1800p instead of 1080p, you would be seeing a solid 60fps on performance. I happen to know this because I am currently playing through HFW on my PS4 Pro on performance mode at 60fps.

@@Gojira_Wins you’re playing 60 fps on a Pro? I didn’t think the PS4 Pro could do 60 fps, I’m getting ready to get me a refurbished one pretty soon from one of the game stores where I live. I already have a XSX and I’m really liking this beast of a console so far and now I’m getting ready to go a Pro since my tv only has one HDMI 2.1 port and I you have to have that to take full advantage of the console.

The game size between PS4 and 5 ports are also minimal. On PS4, it requires 80.6GB, PS5 meanwhile, require 88.9GB.

I really want to play the 3rd horizon game but it’s sadly on vr and I don’t have that but hopefully they add the PlayStations in the 3rd game

It’s because this game was designed for ps4 and ported to ps5. Had it been designed for ps5 only, it would of shit all over the ps4 pro

@@SeyBarca99 oh I don't have plans on getting a ps5 until near the end of its life cycle when I can get one for cheap. I primarily play on my series x. I only picked up a playstation once the exclusives really started to pile up. I intend to do the same with the ps5.

i recently baught a ps slim just so i can play wipeout omega, the one game i cant play on any other system and looks like i never will be able to and for me its one of the best anti grav futuristic raceing games and people have tryed to copy it and fell short by a long way. but i also have a decent PC and i have HZD on the ps and on PC and the pc version is so much clearer and the veiw distance longer and the plants move when you go through them and it runs at a smooth 60 fps in 4k and yet the ps4 version still stands up well against it. for such a small machine it punches well above its weight.

a solid 60fps on a low latency screen is a must have and more than enough unless you are playing E sports. linus did a test with the team and no one could tell the difference between 60fps and 120 fps. but it sounds good when you brag about your system.

@deeznuts no way on Ps5 its 60 and you can tell the difference even from the Pro to the Ps5 it's just on the slim its 30 I believe... not trying to down you but why in the world would you think a new age game on the PS5 only run at 30? My pc with it's RTX 2070 super is already beating a ps5. As it stands currently I would only be compelled to buy a ps5 for it's exclusives. However, I don't expect much from it's graphics. Gaming consoles are inferior next to a gaming pc. And you don't even need a high end graphics card to beat these consoles. By the time I'd be able to get a hold of a ps5 for a reasonable price. Would I even want one?! Ps5 pro maybe.

If your budget matches the ps5's price, then buy one, it will last you atleast 10 years (average lifespan of a console). Ps4 is at the end of its life, Sony is making the transition towards Ps5 already. If your budget is under 300 bucks then buy a Xbox series s.

Dude. Older generations of SSD can load stuff faster than the more modern ones. It does not depend on this kind of storage or the other. Watch videos on how people call the first SSDs the fastest compared to all the new ones.

I have never had this issue and I have it on the 4K 30fps mode(PS5)

No since the Pro will always run better and has a boost mode for 1080P Gaming that the base has not. Getting a base/slim now is just alot worse than getting a Pro since the Framerate and Resolution will be inferior every single time.

Ps4 slim is great, many owners complain of ps4 pro is very loud, my ps4 slim is super quiet
