This helicopter flies awesome. 3s 800mah lipo Stock out of the box. Purchase your new Blade Helicopter from Horizon Hobby with this link. www.tkqlhce.co...
resistant yes. Have spare linkages because they pop off in a crash and sometimes totally off and gone. not as durable as say a nano for sure but the 230 can handle a little beating.
Great flying dude I am having drifting issues and I can't get the calibration right I got the ready to fly version and it will not calibrate for some reason any thoughts
Hey Justin. Got the same heli. Head speed sounds low. Are you in mode 2? ( agility mode). And how much different are your radio settings to the stock radio? I'm using the rtf version.
Ronald Jones I only use enough headspeed to make it fly. It’s probably at 85% in stunt 1. I increase pitch in travel menu. Take it to 110% high and low. This heli isn’t made for high headspeed. Doesn’t need it.
You've flown many hours right? 100s or 1000s? My 1st rx died immediately they replaced it- then a foot high lost the tail rotor. Not good so many quality issues with horizon. But I love flying this and when it's up it awesome
Coe have you had the big drift problem in stability mode as eveyone seem to be having?? Mine outta the box was a wild mustang to tame...sticks all over to try to keep it in one place...and a supper waggy tail....i used the BNF template on my radio for this model but expo at 30%...any tips of quick vid
Go to forward programming. Go to Safe. Click on attitude trim. Move the slider and counter the lean with this adjustment. Fly it a few times till you have it correct. Simple.
The blade always rotates clockwise at full throttle. While the blade is turning one way, the pitch of the blades can be varied from positive to negative. The swashplate of the helicopter controls roll and pitch. As I pull back on the elevator ( swashplate), the heli begins to drop the tail under itself, and as it comes over, I catch it with negative pitch. Then I punch out with negative pitch, add some cyclic input, and catch it with positive pitch. It works just like a real helicopter, except I have 13 degrees of negative pitch instead of about 2 degrees in a scale heli. It is just a balancing act of pitch and throttle.
