I agree most of the things u mentioned. Its nothing revolutionary but all the elements are put well together and it sounds great. Its definitely more on the simplistic side but it works for me, sometimes simple is better. I also agree that the vocals are the highlight of this song, both the singer's harsh and cleans are really top notch. I'm getting a very progressive/melodic death or black metal vibes. His cleans remind me of Blind Guardian. It's very cohesive and tight, nothing fancy, but it feels very arranged like an orchestra. It all fits together but aside from the vocals nothing sticks out. It all has a purpose. Great reaction!
