As a Horizon main I love the changes, on release i felt like a scumbag playing her cos she was disgusting, but then she felt bad to play cos of how slow her grav lift was, now she feels perfect
@@pinchylobster7392 wow bro. I played apex since season 4 but I stoped cause I didn’t like season six and got back into it cause it’s fun. Stfu and grow some maturity
@@iouplayyy9191 lmao does he sound angry about it? He was just saying he likes the new transitions better. Seems pretty relaxed to me. Why you gotta try and start something?
I love when Sooxfar tells Rich to get rolled or that he got rolled when someone funny happens to Rich. Sometimes Sooxfar just sits and watches. He's such a troll lmao
I had over 500 combined wins with horizon in seasons 7 and 8. In higher tier lobbies you still get absolutely beamed on the horizon lift even with the buff. I'd love to go back to maining her, but the lift is still too slow to be usable. No reason to choose her over octane or path at this point
I’ve been dominating with her again personally have a 3 kd so not too bad of lobbies just have to use it more as a launch away/ towards while popping a bat or running towards or away
I was a serious horizon main when she came out and I will admit she was overpowering at the time. However, playing in season 10, even with them rebuffing her she still isn’t as strong in the air as say a Valkyrie, and the addition of Seer has made it difficult to play her. Honestly, I believe if she was completely reverted to her original state she would be viable because the intensity and movement in fights has increased.
On second thought maybe not completely reverted lmao, but more movement within the lift as well as being able to stay on top longer would go a long way.
@@joshuakauffman9211 IMO they could just revert her completely but disable her passive in the lift. Her passive + tac was what made her so good. If she wasn't allowed to strafe that fast in the lift she would be fine. How Apex is rn is just ppl begging for nerfs instead of learning to play against a character.
Horizon is better than valk in the air, valk is completely defenceless when in flight( slow moving and can’t shoot). It balances out valk as a character. I think we should be careful of just buffing old characters since new ones are op. It’s better to nerf the new op characters, making them less oppressive rather than just buffing the old ones. We don’t want character abilities to feel so oppressive that it takes over the basic gunplay of the game
That’s what happens when you don’t have communication though. I was trying to play aggro and let him know with pings. Then when I backed up he stayed behind and got caught. No ones fault, just what solo queuing is like, from his perspective with me as well.
As a Horizon main, I’m SO happy for the changes. I love her kit, I got over 600 kills in her first season, and it feels good to be back to slaying out with her again!!
@@alanaherne6278 Um, by learning her kit..? It’s not that hard to learn a legend. I’m not a professional but I’m good enough to get consistent games with her.
i loved horizon and was my main before nerf and also played for a bit after the nerf ..but when season 9 came my pc couldnt handle the game ..so i stopped playing apex. i would play horizon if i could and is still my fav legend . she was the first legend i unlocked.
After the horizon nerfs I stopped using her and I’ve been a valkyrie main since last season. Now that she is buffed I’ve been contemplating between horizon and valk but I’d say I preder valk because I’ve been used to her movement now. And the second thing holding me back to main horizon again is that her tactical takes too long to charge
I think Horizons ult is weak in general. It's very difficult to trap people in it, especially in open fields. The range is small and enemies can easily destroy it. I actually think her ult should probably get a buff. It really only works well in tight spaces.
Personally, I’m fine with the 20 sec cooldown. However, I hope they revert or expand the standing time, as I can barely throw my ult and an arc star within 2 seconds.
I was a Horizon main, I loved playing with her. But when she was nerfed, she was destroyed and became unplayable, so I unfortunately had to adapt and play another character. For an entire season. I then started playing Wraith and Bangalore, they became my mains, so when Horizon came back, there was no way I could go back to playing with her anymore. Because I got too used to Bangalore and Wraith. That's the problem with launching a character and then applying a very powerful Nerf. Horizon was gone for an entire season, and I just can't get back to play with her.
I'm playing my Horizon! I was one of those people who was really sad that Horizon was ruined and didn't touch her at all S9. She was my favorite and funnest legend. So although I know people aren't too fond of S10's wall hack meta (personally I think it's fun and different). I'm so glad that I'm able to use my main again. That means alot to me and made the game much more enjoyable.
Anyone can make content. literally anyone. But you make entertaining, funny, and realistic content. You are VERYYY good but I feel like you provide the viewers with enough gameplay to emulate that they can get better. Dope stuff as usual. One suggestion, link with Ragg Tagg feel like that would be funny
I don't think many is playing her cause even though she's back she doesn't really fit into the meta, all she has is the ability to go up and suck, she doesn't have wallhacks like seer or bloodhound, she doesn't have rotation potential like octane and mqybe wraith, and she doesn't have the versitily of gibralter, so she kinda just doesn't fit in, though she goes wild in pubs.
Yeah I agree. She’s good right now, but team comps don’t really favor her right now. Why take Horizon over Octane? And why sub out Gibby or Seer/BH? But that’s true for most legends right now tbh. Scan meta is real. Though I prefer Seer meta to Bloodhound meta. The BH scan is just so much more annoying and noisy.
I guess it's because new players don't know her potential because her skills seem underwhelming when you only read them. Especially her passive. You won't know how valuable it is till you try personally
I don't main anyone but it doesn't feel like I'm shooting a hot air balloon down when I see a horizon and it's not a slow elevator ride when playing her
Gonna be the next legend i will unlock! Still need to get to level 63 first tho. But as a new player i think her passive will help quite a bit to improve my movement as my aim is pretty good allready :D she looks fun!
Hey Rich. I've been watching you for a while now, I believe since season 3. Always appreciated your pathfinder grapple tips. But my question for you, do you watch other streamers/content creators and who do you go to for tips and tricks. I've always wanted to ask, maybe you've covered it before, just wanted to know if there was someone you thought was really good, because you often down play yourself at times but you are a really good player and I always watch your game play videos
Can't really go back to her, I was a Horizon Main. Valkyrie has better movement potential than her now. Switched back to Wraith, then Lifeline. Now playing Rampart for fun.
The problem I've always had with Horizon is her ultimate. I couldn't ever land it on anyone or people just blow it up. I had much better results with fuses ult. Just me? Well ok then..
I'm furious rn. I got 3 ranked wins in a row earlier, over 250 ranked points. Got back to the lobby, didnt have any of the kills, damage, wins, or ranked points. WTF
