Great video, I got the belt on and running, have two left over parts though that I can’t remember where there go, any suggestions on where I can go to figure that out?
Great video. I replaced the walking belt on my horizon t500 I’ve had since 2008. I’m not sure what I did wrong but if you are at the foot of the treadmill looking up at the control panel the belt immediately shifts to the left and runs into the drive belt after about a minute.
@@FitnessTechnologyServices Thank you!!That fixed it. I spent a lot of my weekend trying to replace this belt with no background in repairing a treadmill and didn’t feel like I had anything to show for it so thank you very much for allowing me to complete this project.
You should have mentioned that the belt should be checked to see if it's directional. You likely know that and may have checked when you got the belt, but anyone doing it for the first time might miss that detail.
Very few belt are directional! This one is not so no need to mention it on a unit that doesn’t require it. Most of the units I work on don’t maybe commercial? I have not seen one in 15 years
Great video, thank you, I replaced the belt perfectly here in the UK. I am having problem tho with the bet slowing down after approx 20 minutes at 6kph, it appears to slow to around 4kph, when I get off its back to its normal 6kph. The belt appears to be fine, what would you suggest I check first?
Well thank you. You will need to amp it check your ac amps with no one on it then with a user on it if it is 3 times higher with a load then check deck for wear . If amps only double or less! Then controller is weaker. See my video on treadmill power meter to get an example
But why cut the old belt after seeing only having to lift deck to put on new belt also after removing the back roller completely I thought it would’ve been easier to just slacken the front .like u said when working on the road ,time is everything but still very informative thanks been a great help
Well no good reason really,no one has ever asked me that before 🤔.But it is faster and you can’t reuse it, except for it makes a great grass blocker under stone walkway. And thanks please subscribe Dave
Hi! I can’t see what the static guard strap looks like. I see you unscrew something and place it under the treadmill where I can’t see what it is shaped like. But, I got this far with the video really well!
What tool do you use to thread the rear bolts? I removed mine in an attempt to loosen the belt and realign/re center my belt and now i cannot get either bolt to thread back in the hole with the allen wrench that came with the tread mill. Very frustrrating!

Would this treadmill be pretty similar to the Horizon CT5.0 layout? I need a new belt so i am hoping that I could follow this when I get my new one. I'm a first timer at changing a belt!
Well both of us would need your model and serial number to see what size . Sometimes are belt is too thick and heavy send information to Fitnesspartspro@ gmail.com
@@tuccan1 There should be a longer model number also. Look on the frame by the power cord also on horizon the serial number is important it is TM and a long set of numbers after
