The Corruptors and Death-bringers weren’t animal based, they were just the war machines that ended the world. Only the robots that came after that were linked to animals. And if you wanted a comparison for the corruptor it’s called a scarab in the game so I feel that’d be it’s inspiration
Well when you think about it, the Faro swarm’s intelligence is based on an Ant colony. Worker and Soldier drones bringing in resources to a central intelligence to grow the hive bigger and bigger.
@@donpancholl4264 but they weren't inspired by animals they were a part of the faro plague they were weapons of war the other machines were made to resemble animals and restore the earth
I don't think Deathbringer was ever meant to be modelled after an animal. It's a giant warmachine built by humans, before the invention of Gaia. That's how it always came across to me at least.
Faro Chariot bots like Corruptors (Scarabs), Deathbringers (Khopeshes), and Metal Devils (Horus titans), aren't based on animals like the Machines of Zero Dawn
This is patently false and I pray you’re being sarcastic lmao. It’s takes all 0.4 seconds to identify the scarab is a scorpion, and that the metal devil is modestly lobster inspired with some trilobite in there. In all, the entire “line” is arthropod-based.
@@alexismangual9548 there’s definitely inspiration, but unlike the Hephaestus machines, they aren’t specifically based on one animal, they are more function over form
O wauw!! i needed this video today, i am exactly trying to make all of these robots into Lego form, this really helps me to look for there counterpart on movements and muscles! 🔥😆
@@Fallenidk3465 Lego instructies is a little bit hard to make for these Lego MOC's , but i love to make a video in the future that give you tips and tricks to help your on version for a machine
0:35 mmm yes my favourite type of antelope an elephant also the rockbreaker is misspelt and is definitely not a badger and to add to that the bellowbacks are some sort of kiwi not a baryonyx
Stalker isn't one animal. It's combination of panther, chameleon and lizard. Bellowback is clearly based on kiwi. Oh and Broadhead and Rockbreaker is simply longhorn and mole lol. About Longleg even devs show in short video that his moves are based on cock. Edit: Mole and longhorn can actually be found on switches in playtest area in game. Devs literally name machines by their real animals substitutes there.
Deathbringer is not any type of animal, it's a mega drilling/ mining machine. I realized that coz it always come out from the ground especially in last of the game. Plus when u go near it , it bashes the ground and kill u like a big driller. So that's my thought
The Deathbringer isn’t a drilling machine it’s a mobilized turret military robot meant for heavy attacking and defense, It only came out of the ground because it was buried for a thousand years until the transmission activated all of the Faro robots that were deactivated underground and they just made their way to the surface.
What a great comparison! But I will give a great opinion of mine on some little things: The Thunderjaw could also look like a Majungasaurus if you want to look for even more realism in the physique, if you look Thunderjaw has a short head and not as long as a T-rex, also it does not it has arms, the Majungasaurus also had a short head and its arms had no joint, that is, it could not move them (the Rex had short arms but it could move them), it is as if it had no arms. I thought the Bellowback was something like a giant bipedal armadillo without front legs, but looking at it, if you take the load off the machine it does look like a Baryonyx without arms. The Behemoth I always thought was inspired by the biblical beast also called Behemoth, they both look like a giant boar right? (with a somewhat different head) one of metal and the other of flesh and bone. The Stalker could also be a Leopard, the Corruptor I think if it is a Scorpion but without the claws and without 2 legs on each side, Xd. And the Deathbringer the only real animal that can be a little bit like is the Soldier Spider or Jewel. I think the Corruptor and the Deathbringer are just war Mechs, the Mechs are battle robots that are not inspired by anything, they can have different shapes, some with tank wheels as legs, others with more than 2 legs (4 many times) and others only 2 legs that are very reminiscent of the legs of a Bird. 0:40 you got confused, it was Antelope. PS: Will you also make a comparison of the Horizon Forbbiden West machines? There it is even easier to recognize in which real animal they are inspired (more dinosaurs and prehistoric or current mammals).
Me personally i think the deathbringer actually represents a mythical creature called the Cerberus, because if you can tell, he was a final boss battle and was only trying to protect hades at all cost, he literally was always standing beside him and always guarding him as well, and he was a large version of small deathbringers and he had so many guns including 2 flamethrowers, this literally goes for the Cerberus because he is literally hades's pet, so Yea that's what u think he represents
Watchers are velociraptors, longlegs are ostriches, stalkers are jaguars, rockbreakers are moles, scorchers are very much lynx, frost claws are bear but are polar bears, there you go, accuracy
Deathbringers along with corrupters are man made, not one of Hephaestus creations, Corruptors can possibly represent a scorpion but a deathbringer is literally built for war
A Lancehorn is an elephant. I never would have gotten that one right. It’s not the only one. Someone seriously needs to do some editing on this. Even the elephant 🐘 robot 🤖 isn’t even in here. Lol 😂
Exactly, the deathbringers and corrupters, the corrupters were based off of a giant black scorpion, and the deathbrigers are based off of the giant crab.
The elephant machine is definitely based on the mammoth imo, thunderjaw is on point, based on t rex; I like this game because it tests your knowledge on what these machines are based on, some of these robot imitations are the same when I played the game and saw these machines, so at least I know that I was right ✌️✌️😉😉
i'm sorry but there are so many mistakes in this video. you called what's basically a gazelle an elephant...?? you used a picture of a sawtooth for a ravager, you said the rockbreaker was based off a badger but it digs underground.....it's quite clearly based off a mole. i'm sorry again but this video just seems rushed af..
I don't say that this video is awesome or that the things you said are all wrong. But for example a badger lives and digs holes. They live literally in earth holes. So this isn't the right argument at all.
@Clifford actually it is, if you go onto the Horizon wiki/fandom, go to the stalker then scroll to the gallery. One of the images is a concept art of the stalker based of of, you know what it was? A hyena. Quoting directly from the fandom “Concept art, based on an image of a hyena”
@Clifford I know the whole thing isn’t, there ain’t a single animal that can turn invisible or shoot lasers or leave mines. I’m just saying that it’s based off of a hyena and not what the video said
@Clifford are you a HZD/HFW developer? I’d so then yea ok, I’ll believe you. But I doubt it cause what kind of developer has this sort of personality. Have you even looked at the fandom aka what I said, and so what if I like my own comment, all you’re doing by pointing that out is bringing a new subject to make you look better even though we’re both just people living normal fucking lives
0:41 im pretty sure longlegs are based off ostriches and other similar birds. Also Panthers aren't actual animals and the name comes from Panthera, the genus where jaguars, leopards, lions, and tigers are from.
