Thanks for this! Did my own slight variation: Took out the scorchers with the log traps and then using your method, blowing their shock thingy and blasting with arrows. For the bellowbacks, instead of going straight to them, I tearblasted the mine thrower from one of the dead scorchers and rained mines on them. That gave me more than enough time to get one frozeclaw while just using sling blast on the last one after freezing them. Saved my life with this guide!
Ohh that's a nice strategy too! This is one of the many reasons I love this game, you can always be creative and try new approaches! Grats on that! I'm happy that my video helped.
Thanks dude, I was struggling on this one but managed to complete it in less than 3 minutes on hard thanks to your video! My tip for anyone else trying to do this is to put as much damage on your bow as possible for the precision arrows, it helps a lot.
I never use the multiple-arrows-in-a-shot thing, so it took me a bit to get used to, but afterward, I cleared this with like... 2 minutes to spare. XD Didn't even bother using elemental arrows. I just sharpshot the weak spots. Thank you so much!
This is so awesome!! I'm not ashamed to admit I was struggling badly for the gold on Normal, so I lowered the difficulty to story lmao. I just wanted the trophy for finishing all activities
how come the enemies in your video arent aggresive enough? I mean in my game they charge at me like every second so I dont have time to charge my powershot
If I remember correctly, I was using an outfit with extra stealth. But I'm not sure, I recorded this video a long time ago, sorry =( But as you can see in the video, the first scorchers were taken down before even notice me. For the bellowbacks I kept my distance and for the Frostclaws I remained crouched so the second one would not notice me for a while.
Fantastically done! Thanx for sharing :) I really hate the scorchers and now I can see that the most important thing is that they DO NOT SEE YOU !!! Two scorchers at once really are too much for melee range combat - UFFFF, UGHH
Liked your playstyle, specially becuase you don't use banuk weapons nor wood tramps. Personally i used: Heavy bow, Hunter bow, ropecaster and the trapcaster. It felt so good blowing up with fire arrows and tiding to the ground those scorchers & blowing up with a trap field those frostclaws. (Just becuase i really loved the last two weapons) Nice gameplay again. Salut!
Thank you very much! I honestly don't like the banuk bows, I only use them in very specific situations. Haha I feel you, I also love this game's explosions! My last playthrough I used a lot of bombs for fun
@@GabZeroPlays oh well, i don't consider banuk bows banuk at all, if you know what i mean (their are just more powerful bows). Btw, if you make this trial again, i highly recomend you to use this song in backgroung: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fF8xrmoVa_g.html
Dude! You're the Man! (or Woman!) Thanks so much for this. I was wondering why the strategy that worked on Normal (Ice rail) didn't work on Ultra Hard.
holy shit i managed to do this in 2:06 by sheer luck on the first round, both of the scorchers were directly under the log piles and I had adept striker bow with all special modifications so I did that in about 20 seconds
I'm happy it worked! I don't like the shield weaver, but I saw some comment that it's not that effective in TFW because only 1 hit takes all the armor.
The shield weaver isn't even great on Very Hard. It's only effective when you're playing it on lower difficulty. Better use other armors with atleast 3 slots to modify it whenever you want. Trust me you'll survive much longer
I dodge reasonably well, so the shield weaver armor is best for me on Ultra Hard. Armor resistances aren't as effective for me, despite all that I read from others; I'm not sure why, but no matter what against the tougher machines I'm healing constantly.
I always play with bows so I can't say for sure which one deals more damage. My precision arrow has 3 damage mods and 1 handling mod, plus I usually freeze the machine as well. Try to find out what suits your playstyle, there are amazing players who make wonderful kills with slings only. You can see my weapons and mods here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-1xZ2kFXgbTs.html
GabZero Plays okay, thanks. I already watched that video my problem is I don’t have all those OP mods. However, your method could carry me to blazing sun on first attempt !!! With just a second to spare, thank you so much
My reaction yesterday when I've beaten this Trial 1st place FIRST TRY. Granted, I'm a "normie" (Normal Difficulty here) who had nearly everything at this point, but still. I was all like, "*F$$KIN' A!*".
@@GabZeroPlays I'll admit though, the first challenge is a thousand times harder than this. JUST 55 seconds? Really? It should be a minute at least, or maybe make the Ravager a bit closer and not far off - trying to start with him will waste +21 seconds.
@@abd-qadirgilani8871 Yeah, the Control Trial is really messy! My first attempts where with the regular (blue) Stormslinger, I took around an hour to complete like that. With the Purple Stormslinger is way, waaay better. You can freeze the Ravager and deal some regular damage, only the last hit should be from the Stromslinger. You can check how I did it: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-OdYlH6Li_TQ.html
@@GabZeroPlays You should see my face when I (miraculously) did that challenge and gotten a .36 mark! I was like "whaaat?" But I was pissed because most of my attempts would end up JUST a second or two above the requirements (56 or so). One time I managed to do it on a solid 0:55..... and STILL didn't get 1st Place. "I *BEG* your pardon?!?!?!"
@@abd-qadirgilani8871 Holy moly this is a great mark!! Hahaha if you're lucky and hit right they really die fast! Grats!! Haha if you hit the exact 0:55 it would probably grab some milliseconds so it still won't count, its a shame, happened to me as well.
There's no trophy for what difficulty you do this on you can technically do it on the story mode and finish it in a minute and a half unless you want the challenge..I got it on hard it omg...there still ultra hard? Fml
Ur precision shots do 103dmg/a shot😂😂😂 i get 150per shot with hardpoint arrows with 160 handeling also when they are frozen I do 1200dmg with 3 hardpoint arrows ur doing 600 with precision u need the banuk bows my friend, fully charge shots are insane and with 160 handeling I’ve taken this machines out in 10-15 seconds
@@GabZeroPlays As far as I now now Banuk weapon is from dlc and I already got it, and it has 3 slots, but yours had 4, so it's adept weapon as far as i know from ng+
I did it the same way as in the video except for using sling for freezing first two enemies, and did it for 4:05 in a very hard mode with standart weapon from dlc.
Haha you get used to it. The machine behavior and visuals change as you're dealing damage, it's all a matter of practice. You can even turn off the HP bar on any difficulty if you like =P
Now I notice why you do so much damage... You have the ability to do 4 mods... Your on a New Game+. I'm trying to do them on Ultra Hard but on normal first game, so only 3 mods.
Just did it, 4:12 was my time. I defeated the first scorcher by doing the same you did, use arrows on his component that shocked him and then finished him off with sticky bombs... And from there on it was pretty much DODGE + sticky and normal bombs pretty much. I used the Shield Weaver outfit and used 2 full health potions during the trial.
Did a 3:16, using the Adept outfits and weapons. Also after some mastery of the game of course. The Blast bombs still make a ton of difference but your video definitely helped me in eliminating the the 2 scorchers faster.
TheShadoWings actually there is... you just have to shoot them once with the frost sniper while they are standing under the logs... now you just have to shot the logs once and they will do the rest. Not even 10 seconds and one is out ...
That's the one, it's Adept on UH and Master on VH and below (I was not sure you where playing on other difficulties). Aloy's not using the mask because I like to disable headgear.
