Hardpoint arrows with tear and damage mods work extremely well for this fireclaw boss fight. I just used triple shot hardpoint with a hit and dodge strategy and that works.
@@n4mel3ssw0lf8 just sparkers in my case because I use shock arrows on the power cells* on his back to stun him then I use hardpoint arrows to get rid of his parts works pretty well and it's not that costly
@@anthonymarshall.martial1908 thats good too but i have another strategy for the couldron fireclaw. tie him up, use the ice spalsher and then use the ice cannon with full damage mods equiped.
Normal. Armour soaked up a lot of my damage. Fireclaw was probably confused by my playstyle and unsure when to attack... Scrub style noob run for the win !

If I had the opportunity I would've put down 15 high damage trip blast wires in front of the machine in the force field and then after every tie down put as many as you can in front of the tied frozen machine
