Different log sizes, wood species and hardness are no problem, wide band saw blades and solid construction can cope with all. Now you can focus on the sawing itself. The intelligent control makes the band saw work automatically, while the operator simply chooses sizes. Maximum log diameter: 0,85m/33''. Log length and equipment is all custom made, according to each customer's needs.
The CEL 700 cross cut saw is also a part of this sawing line. It is used to cut ends of boards or cut them to final lengths.
This sawing line is running at Coleg Meirion Dwyfor, in Wales, where it is used for education purposes.
