Thank you for this, I had been wondering how to use a warping reel, I knew how to use a warping board but not this. I am now most deffinetly going to be getting a warping reel.
I've been using a mill for 15 plus years and never thought to use a guide wire....hopefully I'll be weaving another 15 as I feel so foolish that I never thought of this before!
Do you have suggestions of how to change colors of yarn without cutting and tying? I've seen suggestions of how to "park" your yarn using warping boards and vertical mills, but haven't come up with anything for a horizontal one.
