September 27, 2017 The Fantasy left port 30 minutes prior to my ship the Allure of e Seas. While I love the Allure, I have to admit defeat. WE LOST :-(
Alright, Disney, install 88 horns over 7 octaves to give the full range of a modern piano keyboard. I wanna hear Beethoven's 5th played on ship's horn!
They have 128 Horns Capacity on the Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy xd.. As well as a Piano which is in that White Radar system in the front. Infron of the First Funnel.
God damn, Disney are the masters of magic, even when adults stop believing in it, they find a way to pull it out from behind your ear and show you the truth, that it's still there
Yeah, but the Allure is roughly twice the mass of the Disney Fantasy and could easily run her down at maximum safe speed. Now if that were the Dream, I wouldn't mess with that Captain as he has a reputation for just backing up into docks and attempting to scrape the back end of his ship into the Monarch of the Seas.
According to maritime law, cruise ships has to use their horns to communicate in what they are doing in open water or at port. Normally when a cruise ship leaves the dock, they use 2 long blasts on the horns, signaling that "I am leaving the dock now". Disney does their "horn battle " because they are Disney and trying to make the cruise more magical to their guests. The other ship was responding with their horn probably meaning "understood, have a good trip"
Captain: good evening folks we are getting ready to a horn battle. Feel free to cover your ears. Me: *sees Disney cruise next to our ship.* 🙄 we are going to loose.
I was ON the Fantasy when you recorded this! It was just as we were leaving Falmouth, Jamaica! My fiance and I were people watching those aboard the Allure of the Seas while relaxing in our private Spa Villa when this happened!
HERPY DERPEDY - Book EARLY, have a plan, prioritize & SAVE! It took us 2 years to save up for our *entire* Disney Cruise vacation (first class airfare, pre-cruise Disney World visit, ground transportation, port adventures, specialty dinning brunch, spa package, souvenirs & "extras") but it was SO worth it and *can* be done! We are not "rich", just debt-free with no kids, and we make our vacation savings account a priority (instead of, say, dropping 1K on the latest tech toys etc.)
Joe Dufour Clearly youve never been on a Disney cruise. Ive never seen a kid crying on a Disney Cruise, ive been on nearly 15. Everyone is just grateful to be able to experience what they are doing on the ship, and enjoying the vacation. So why dont we stop stereotyping children and not forget that theres really behaved children who can be offended by this.
Disney Fantasy: Bloop Bloop Bloop Bla boop, bla bloop bla bloop bla bloooooooooooop Also Disney Fantasy: Do you wanna build a snowman? Allure Of The Seas: *MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM* Disney Fantasy: *ok bye :(* *Disney Fantasy leaves port*
Maria Razak i’ve been on the fantasy 2 times it is 5 decks shorter than the allure of the seas. that’s a lot. while the fantasy is a big ass mf ship the allure is like the big brother. definitely recommend the fantasy or any other disney cruise line ship over any other ship in the world. you get all the magic with disney.
Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria are gonna be like, hey Disney Fantasy! Disney Fantasy be like, What? Queen Elizabeth and Queen Victoria say, Wanna do a horn battle? Disney Fantasy says, sure, the 2 sisters sing happy birthday, Disney Fantasy be like, OMG WHAT THE HELL???!!!
I don't get why people call these battles. It's not one trying to out do the other.. It's just Disney being Disney going through it repertoire of horn music. And the back and forth with the ships horn's is customary when a ship leaves port..
Allure of the seas definetly got a way louder horn... but i love the tunes all the disney ships make and the ragal princess makes and stuff, im surprised Royal caribbean dont have tunes yet on their ships...
Does anyone know the name of the song playing in the background on Allure? I assume a deck party or something? You can hear it begin towards the beginning of the video and then near the end of the video when the horns aren't blowing. It's driving me crazy, it sounds like such a fun song! I think it's either in Spanish or Portuguese.
Sarah Bretz ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2InRqCGhAhg.html The song is "Feeling Hot Hot Hot" They were probably listening to this version by Don Omar. The original was by The Merrymen Know every bit of this because my mum has a Pirate Teddy Bear that sings it in a parrot voice that she plays everytime she wants to be annoying xD
