my test in order to save ammo is 6 rounds......1 on redneck ballistics gel 4 layers of denim and a 5 round bill drill at 7 yards to test recoil control

Once again --Great video and GREAT message at the end! I was happy to see the American Gunner round perform so well. It is one of the "three round rotation" that I use in my Model 66 (Remington 158grn semi jacket hollow point and Buffalo Bore 180grn hard cast [bear protection] being the other two). I also have a ton of the Sig Sauer 125 grn hollow point as it has been a cheap and available round for a while now but I have yet to see it tested anywhere. Too new maybe? Anyway --good luck on your hunt man. Deer/Elk season starts next week here in Montana and I will be out there with my Ruger Scout Rifle as well.

Are you shooting this through a +P rated revolver and if not how are your forcing cones I heard these were hard on them

357mag there is actually no +p. This is the ruger gp100, if you have a good revolver such as ruger sp101, gp100 , 686,colt etc, you will be fine shooting full power 357 loads, your wrist is going to wear out faster than the gun. Practice with some 38 +p then throw some hot 357 in there for carry. Don’t buy a cheap 357 mag , get a ruger, colt, smith and Wesson. Now some of the old old revolvers will wear out faster if you shoot a ton of 357

I usually go over to blackpowder gun nut’in come October and that lead to a bunch of calvary videos cuz I dig peacemakers and clones of the like. Funny how much I can relate to the Lakota.
