Thank you for posting this, I have a Smith and Wesson 329 and it weighs 26 ounces. Shooting full power .44 magnums in it is a special kind of masochism. You gave me the idea to handload a lighter .44 magnum and it's really taken my enjoyment of that gun to a new level.

Question on your bushing connecting your powder dispenser there is a part at the bottom separating bushing from the lock ring Could you explain what it is and it's use. Thank you

I think with the dillon XL750 you not need the expander die... I'm I correct?

Is the bullet seating die also creating a crimp as well ? Hornady is top of the line but way so expensive.

paininthe10 yes, the seating die seats and crimps all in one motion. The lnl isn’t super expensive anymore! You can get the basic version without the case feeder for around $400 now! Or the one with the case feeder and a bullet feeder for around $1000

What powder, and how much variation (total) are you seeing between powder drops... Are you running the new model with the baffle?

I live in St Clair Alabama and buying my powder local and all components except brass for 44 magnum cost 43 cents that is using 23 grains of H110 hodgdons one pound, cci magnum primer pack of 100 and hornady xtp 240gr bullets box of 100. with brass it cost for a pack of 100 30.00 so that would be another 30 cents for a total of 73 cents a round I can buy magtech ammo cheaper than I can reload if I had too buy the brass for the 44mag so breaking it down the H110 powder cost 10cent per 23 grains a case, the bullet cost 28 cent a round and the primer was 5 cent each currently I can buy magtech 44 mag for 63 cent a round on a 1000 or 33.00 a box this will atleast give you a figure . by the way there wasn't a response for the two gentle below so I was throwing my two cent in hope it helped.

This is a reply to an old comment but even with crazy 2023 prices, 9g Titegroup costs 4 cents, a 240g cast lead bullet costs 7 cents, crazy priced primers cost 10 cents and the brass costs nothing after the first reload. So 44 magnum rounds at 21 cents a shot is pretty good. If you want maximum velocity with premium bullets and brand new brass, you can buy factory rounds almost as cheaply as handloads but I doubt you would want to shoot 100 at the range just putting holes in paper. If that's what you're doing, then $21 is much cheaper than $63. The great thing about reloading is it's almost the same cost to load 9mm/38/.357/40/44/45 when casting your own bullets and reloading your used brass. 2-6 cents for the powder, 10 cents for the primer and 3-7 cents for the bullet.
