A first look at the Hornby MH7000 DCC system running via an iPad Air and Gaugemaster Prodigy. This is an 8 pin chip in a Hornby 2 Bil. The sound set is wrong as the closest proposed sound (a 4VEP) is yet to be released. I use the class 73 to have a play. I also handed the system over to my children to see how they found it. It was an absolute doddle for them.
Installing the chip was easy as was programming it. Before installing the class 73 sounds I installed the class 31. Swapping sounds was very easy.
The layout is my children's layout, a much modified version of a track mat.
