Hornby Model Railway through Eras 6 and 7 1967 British Rail Pre TOPS and 1971 TOPS 1960s 1970s 1980s 

I wanted to capture the images I imagined as a schoolboy 60 years ago with my first Hornby train set. This is an upbeat celebration of model trains, vehicles and buildings through the eras with live sounds and music from the era. I consider the video as a romp as it is not a serious modellers layout with timetables, fiddle yards, shunting and a fat controller, but exciting theatre against a diorama of Metcalfe Model kits, scratch built Tesco and flats, EFE lorries and buses, Oxford Diecast cars, Trackside, D.G. Model cars etc . There are very few videos on RU-vid covering all the Eras, so I thought that I would make “Hornby Model Railway through the Eras” my theme.
