Qué triste el maltrato a este leal animal de trabajo por parte del dueño, y pésimo el trabajo del herrero, ni siquiera saneó ni trató los cascos del pobre burro antes de volverlo a herrar, además con herraduras inadecuadas... Lamentable cómo sufren éstos animales en manos de personas sin ética.

And let's not forget to mention that he is pounding the s*** out of that animal's hoof and it is slamming his ankle into that metal post. Just imagine you having an infected fingernail or infected toenail and someone is putting a cast on it while they are slamming your ankle into a metal post with violent Hammer strokes. Poor animal couldn't walk because his ankles are badly bruised and bleeding. I just don't understand why they cannot inject these hooves with an antibiotic. At least once a month I would watch my friend showing his horses and of course manicuring them to the hilt and massaging their hooves with all kinds of potions to keep them healthy and strong. I don't think he would appreciate seeing this animal being tortured like this with the blows to the infected foot and smashing the poor animals ankle against the post is just absolutely insane pain to that animal.
Как могли допустить до такого состояния, копыто?. Второе: почему не срезаешь мягкую ткань стрелки, ведь ослику доставляет ужасную боль, восполённое и " наростом" увеличенная стрелка. Мы Кавказцы, срезаем мягкую часть стрелки, чуть ли не до появления крови. Между копытом и подковой, ставим прослойку как войлок так и из бычьей кожи , " временно". Для защиты стрелку от камней и неровностей дороги. Через несколько дней, когда уйдёт боль, перековываем. И ослику комфортно!.

This farrier needs proper training and the correct tools,like a hoof knife. And it sounds as though somebody is having an argument in the background, to much noise I imagine the donkeys are terrified
Some of it is translation like saying the hoof is "sick" when that basically means any imperfection from thrush to abcesses to white line disease. I will also say other farriers in this country do a better job with the most basic of tools they do have and use their own table seats covered in tire tread as a place to rest the hoof for the trim job. This particular channel is one of the worst online for calling himself an old school master when he uses power tools. I've never seen any use a hoof knife or rasp, ever. I have seen better jobs on other channels however and normally avoid this one.

This farrier is extremely rough, he's supposed to hold on/grip the foot, not let it dangle while working on it, the poor donkey is already in great pain. I've watched other videos where they are more careful and compassionate while performing this job. This is painful to watch indeed!
I also though so, but since I'm not a farrier I did not want to comment. Surely if the donkey has bugs eating his hoof or fungus or whatever then medication should be applied? To think someone filmed and posted this because they are proud of their work is disgusting. They let that donkey return to the same terrible conditions that caused his agony.

Where they walk in their own crap and get tied up and fight until they fall over in it? and yes they will end up in someone's stewpot when they can't work anymore. What do you think a place like this does with a donkey that can't work? They don't even have access to medicine and the man claims "worms" in the hoof. There were no worms. There was a crack in the hoof and fungus got in when poo, dirt, and whatever else the donkey walked through in the past year was left in to eat away at it and that is where the little bugs were coming from. There were no "worms". It was pure neglect and fungus that he didn't rasp off and he just pulled the hoof wall off. Do you really believe if this donkey had an abscess to the coffin bone they wouldn't just turn him into dinner??? They view animals differently.
I agree if he used an angle grinder he would have more control of the tool and how much he is taking off. I've seen a few of these videos of Chinese "Master" farriers and none of them seem that skilled.
The angle grinder would cause less of that yanking around. Imagine being painfully lame and having that planer catching on your foot and pulling it around. Oo. The Hoof GP knows his stuff.
The hoof GP treats cattle. I know it's more time consuming but other people who claim to do "traditional chinese trimming" don't use power tools at all and use a large knife that is the length of a shovel to press down while the foot is on the ground to take off all extra toe before pulling the foot up to finish the job. I don't know how they can claim this is traditional when using power tools. No one was traditionally using power tools 50 years ago to do these donkey's feet. Also the donkeys foot is not supported like the Hoof GP's cattle crush with metal. This is a rope and the man doesn't support the weight either like a proper farrier. There are other channels that do a much better job at showing traditional chinese trimming and don't use any electric tools and the results are far better.
As I have said before I've seen a few of these videos and all the farriers seem lacking in skills of their trade. But my biggest complaint is their maltreatment of the animals when restraining them
@@3farrela Their is another Master on a different channel that doesn't "restrain". He uses a long knife like tool but it's like a shovel length with a straight blade on the end and cuts the excess toe length before he ever picks the animals foot up. Then he puts the foot on a bench he covered with old tire tread. The animal is not normally restrained other than being tied by a halter. That Master also does really good work and no power tools! The foot is supported and when the animal tries to move it he either says "NO" or just put's it's back and pets the animal. All lack in full farrier skills and tools we use in first world countries but what I see him do with similar tools to this man (no power tools) is far better work by angling his tools and cuts and using the scythe to get out all junk from the frog area. I've never seen any of them use a rasp or hoof knife. The other Master I speak of uses hydrogen peroxide, saline, and blue kote, and sometimes actually gives the animals antibiotics. He actually flushes abscesses and wounds.
Wonder if all the raised voices in the background are giving the owner a complete rollicking for letting this poor animal get in such a state, I hope they were giving him a good hiding for his neglect, so sad they shouldn’t own animals if they can’t look after them properly, totally disgusting they should be brought to justice.
How cruel to make this animal work when he is in great pain, and no one cares until the poor thing can no longer pull the wagon then he gets the help it needed, thank you for your mercy on the donkey..

Shoes doesn't allow natural fonction into the foot, it's reducing blood circulation (colder legs on a shoed feet than on a barefoot one), increase shock and navicular problem, do not allow the correct expansion of the hoof during impact (no damping effet), blocks the growth of the hoof when it's doing on young horse and the hoof will stay small (not good at all)... etc etc etc.
