Consider yourself lucky they took the carpet. Imagine what kind of filth was embedded into it. They have saved you from having to touch it while ripping it up yourself. We weren't as lucky and UGH the filth we found under it told us we were smart to rip it all out! The people living there were not the earth's finest so you are indeed lucky!
It may have been carpet they paid for themslves. You should always get a list of all that is included in the house. Not everything is. In germany people take their whole kitchen when they move apartments. And i am certainly not leaving all the things i bought with my own money for my landlady to sell to somone.
They bought the house not rented. There's no landlord when you buy a house. Generally the rule if it's attached to the house, it stays. Generally big appliances (fridge, hot water tank, washer/dryer, etc) all stay unless specifically mentioned otherwise
@@KyleLambing the Tennant was renting from the land lord. The landlord has sold it to this couple so yes the Landlord would be selling something paid for by the Tennant 😂
@@dddragthetans who in the past 20 years is ADDING carpet instead of removing it? And surely the carpet isn't going to just magically fit in a new house
@@KyleLambing considering I'm a carpet fitter quite a few people still get it tbh 😂. Living rooms and bedrooms mainly. And yes I know that it's not gonna fit in the next house but people are cunts and will cut their nose off to spite their face
If they said they were leaving it u can take them to court . We were buying a house and they man wanted to the carpet on the stairs . but my mum made him leave it because she didn't want us to hurt r toes on the grippers.
